Yeah this is an old character, however, not sure I got so many points that I won’t get any more till level 55 and then only +2.

If what you say is true, I am not sure I like their solution. At this point character progression seems like a slog and it takes a long time to do enough hero challenges to feel like I am making progress. I would rather have had a respect, have my character take some steps back with traits, and then get my points normally. That way, I feel like I am actually progressing every other level or so.

Currently I do not feel like I am progressing at all and the bad news is, I will feel like this till level 55!

I made a ticket. Guess I will see what support says.

Just to revive this thread a bit. . .

My elementalist is level 31. He has not gotten any hero points for the last 5 levels. On top of that, the list of upcoming rewards shows +2 hero points at level 55.

I think we should be getting hero points a lot more often than that.

I am guessing that the email addresses could be changed before, when the accounts were stolen. ArenaNet probably disabled email changing to prevent future thefts for now until a better verification procedure is in place.

Really? Well I hope changing the password to a random one will stop the account from getting hijacked again until they fix this.

BUT – I can seem to change me account name(email address). I go in and change through profile but it doesn’t seem to stick.

This worries me because I don’t want to keep using my old email address since it is the one that was hijacked in the first place. I really want to change it.

I have change the password with no problem but for some reason, changing the email/account seems to not work.
