I came back to the game after a long break. Unfortunately, I am having a problem with the game freezing and locking up my computer, requiring a restart. I never had any trouble with it before. The crashes happen about 10-15 minutes into play and does not happen with any of my other games.

Anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?

That zone is a joke of a content update, anyway. The Rich vein was the only good thing about it.

Yes, during long sessions I hear a beep that sounds like an alarm and doesn’t go away unless until you restart the game.

If you’re this upset over 30 minutes of progress being lost in a computer game then you need to step back and take a real hard look at your priorities.

Would it be possible to add a description area for the report function? I want to report a gold spammer, but all I can really do is just select the category and move on. I imagine that people other than gold sellers are guilty of spamming from time to time. If we had a description window, this would let us explain exactly what they were spamming. This may help support filter them out and assist in taking care of them faster.

The same goes for botting. If you are suspicious of someone, you can enter exactly what you saw them doing that made you believe that they were botting.

As they have done many times before, they will publicly post exactly what you got banned for if requested.

It could be that your offense did not have a proper category so they put it under ‘racial slurs’. Or, it’s not for the character’s name but something you said using the character’s name to accompany some ignorant racial slurs in chat.

Regardless, you got what you deserved. You’re in their playground, you have to play by their rules.

Right. We have a lot of people who need help, but we should dedicate people to hand-holding with giving warnings? Really? The warning comes through the User Agreement, the Rules of Conduct, and the Conduct Breaches and Outcomes. Become familiar with them and the problem is solved.

I wholeheartedly support this strong stance by ArenaNet. Thank you for caring about the vast majority of us who do not care to see this type of behavior in-game.
