Start learning kits because you’re pretty much shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t.

Well technically, the Prototype Capacitor and a Beta Capacitor are two completely different items right? So I would guess when you use your prototype to make the beta it will not be soulbound.

I’d pay but they would seriously have to improve the game to get my money.

Not sure if this is the place for sound glitches/bugs but I have a very annoying, random and persistent sound bug that I’ve had since release. I’ll try my best to explain it.

It occurs randomly. Sometimes it happens 20+ times a day and sometimes it will happen as low as 5 times a day.

The sound is different almost every time but it usually sounds something close to a loud thud or a loud pop with some echo. Although, sometimes it sounds like a gunshot going off in a closed room. It really hurts the ears because the bug is infinitely louder than everything else in the game. I’m not kidding when I say it’s loud. It really does sound like dynamite detonating sometimes.

It seems to occur more often in crowded areas like Lion’s Arch or big world events like dragons. I’ve updated all drivers, uninstalled and re installed GW2, used different sound hardware, changed sound settings to all types of combinations, and this bug persists. I can still hear the sound even when the game is minimized and you can’t hear the ingame music. I’m assuming this is hardware related but if someone could help me pin point this bug I would be really grateful. Thanks for reading.

I’m a fan of the Helghast style helmets but the rest of the armor is kinda meh in my opinion. Also, dredge are annoying. They make weird noises and yell “NO” way to much.

I assume you’re talking about farming Cursed Shore events. I’ve had great success using my engineer to farm. The flamethrower has instant mass tagging potential . You can literally run straight through a wave at shelt/pent, press 1 and tag every single target in the wave. As for survivability, Elixir S breaks stun and makes you invulnerable for several seconds. Also Self-Regulating Defenses in the alchemy tree is essentially an emergency Elixir S that kicks in when you hit 25% health which will allow you get out of any trouble.
If you need to afk for a moment, you can even put turrets down in front of the camps while you wait for the events to start to tag the random mobs that run near/into the camps.

The price of rares have dropped since the last patch. I usually end up salvaging or burning them in the forge.

I’ve been farming CS events for quite some time now for my legendary and with the recent patch I was worried. I was getting mixed reviews. Some people where saying it was nuked from orbit and some was actually saying the drops where even better. I had some time off of work after the patch and I didn’t notice much of a difference when it came to overall gold earned in the same amount of time as old CS. The many rares I obtained made up for the significantly lower amount of bags dropped.

However, the times I am most likely able to farm are early hours which has been great for me because less people = less culling = more drops for me. But now the events are so hard that the small amount of people at the events during early hours can’t handle them.

So I ask thee, where do I go now to farm? I really don’t want to spam dungeons but if it’s come to that I’ll bite the bullet.

Oddly, when I think of a precursor for a legendary, I feel like it should be the EASIEST to get among the requirements. It’s just an exotic item, something to be improved upon. Such as in tales where the weapon a hero has been wielding his entire quest ONLY becomes legendary due to the feats it has accomplished and how it served its master.

This was actually how I thought legendary weapons was going to be in this game. Sort of like the legendary weapons from FFXI in which they start out as trash junk items and then you slowly buff them up.

Grouped with people who already had done them. Copied what they did. Easiest content ever.

But in all seriousness, there is no “starter” dungeon. Dungeons are such a massive step up from conventional PvE that any dungeon is going to seem impossible to someone just starting out. You’re going to have failed runs for awhile just like we all did but eventually you’ll get so good at them you can blast through every path of a dungeon in less than an hour without dying or wearing armor. CoF path 1 is brutally easy and after just one run of that you’ll have it down forever. People love to run it to because of its simplicity and just the sheer speed you can run through it. Many many people are down for CoF path 1 spams so just make a group and it will fill up fast I promise. Just pay attention to what more experienced dungeon runners say/do.

Make your own parties because you can’t be kicked from those. But if you must join up, for the love of god please skip over “zerker warriors onry” or “pro speed runs plz” these are the kind of groups you don’t want to be in.

There is plenty of non-elitist people out there that want to run dungeons. They are there, you’re just not looking hard enough.

You can try to get it back through support but I’m not sure how Anet handles situations like this. If anyone has any experience with matters like this feel free to chime in.

I got all of the skill points in Orr using Ash Legion Kits. Map completion is fairly simple/easy you just need a ****load of patience because it takes forever.
