Awesome stuff. Respect.
It’s nice to see someone actually enjoying this profession rather than bashing it because of their own shortcomings.
Anyway, I must ask, your elite skill keybind is M5? What exactly is that? I have a skill under M3 (center mouse button) but I just can’t figure out what M5 would be.
Salamandar drake – Betty Crocker
Marsh Drake – Gator Aids
Hawk – Mike Hawk
Pig – Five O
Brown Bear – Teddy Bruschi
Black Moa – Barack Omoa
Non specific pet – I’m with stupid
These are pretty much all the names I’ve cycled through since I’ve started playing the game. Lol. Yeah, most of them are pretty politically incorrect.
It’s a cool idea, but I doubt anything like this would be implemented. Its just too much work do be done for one class. Besides, each pet does have its unique abilities, even though pets of the same family have the same base attacks, their f2 abilities are all different and serve different purposes.
Also, I’m not exactly sure what you mean by having the pets level up and gain experience with you. As in, making it necessary to level each pet separately? If that was the case, that would be extremely tedious and would probably upset a lot of rangers.
Once again, its a cool idea, but I’m not sure if how you are presenting it would be the way to go. I do agree that the pet system is in need of some buffing, but a complete overhaul doesn’t seem necessary, and may only serve to offset newer players from the ranger class.
For about a week or so now there has been a very annoying bug where each time I begin a new match in Spvp the passive effects of signets, such as the 25% movement speed of “Signet of the Hunt” will not be in effect. To fix it, I have to rearrange my utility skills, but if i forget to do this the passive effects will not reset themselves until I die. The frequency at which this bug occurs is like 90% of all Spvp matches I join.
Also, there has been times where opening strike will not be in effect either, although this occurs less frequently, it can be even more annoying.
The numbers you see on a skill like hunter’s call are the accumulative amount of damage done, not individual hits.
