It WAS working on Ederon Terrace up to about an hour ago. Then the south escort bugged out. Was going smooth till they warped halfway across the map and are now just standing there.

So any working servers?

I had a post instantly taken down in this thread, so we are def being watched by someone. There is not much else we can do but keep this thread alive and going in hopes of a devs responce.

Btw I totally agree, all posts are being locked and transfered here. Why here? Why not where it will get the most visibility and pertains to the most?

Whether its intentional (my bet is extremely poor planning) or not this new DR system effects everyone. A level 20 necro gets shafted just as hard as an 80 farming a legendary. So address the community and fix the DR or watch GW2 turn into just another MMO that didn’t cut it. I love the game but I loose a little love every 30 minutes when I’m penalized for just playing it.

Btw I watched 30+ bots farming a spot yesterday. I’m still convinced that this DR system does nothing to them, just hurts the real community.

So this is how I see it. Punish the people who are going for legendarys/full sets (hardcore players) and promote the extension of playing the game for the (casuals.) I am seriously debating continuing my pursuit of twilight, let alone playing in general..yea yea QQ i know.

Bots still going strong – check
Punished the GW2 community – check
kitten off the GW2 community – check
Ignore mass requests for reasons by GW2 community – double check

Karma boosters used to be well worth it, now you’ll be lucky if you can get half of their worth out of them. Also cycling between maps doesn’t seem to reduce the appearance of DRs as well as relogging, so were stuck with farm as much as possible then afk for x amount of minutes then back to farming. Thanks for the post though Celestea. Either one of 3 things will happen: we find a way around this (till it gets patched next Monday), Anet finally sees how kitten off everyone is and changes it, or nothing happens and we enjoy getting told when enough is enough farming. My money is on #3 :/

I was really hoping to get the last chunk of karma needed to finish up twilight but it seems that my grind time just got doubled with all the down time needed. And yea buy and hours long karma boost and get maybe 30 minutes use out of it…makes sense to me. Well if anyone has any ideas how to maximize the uptime on karma farming I’m all ears. I’m stuck at work now so I can only speculate and get others opinions.

So now that you can’t just simply log out then log in to clear DE’s how do you guys plan on getting the most out of your time? I tried going to another zone but that didn’t work. I’d really like to not go afk as soon as I see DR’s.

I’ve waited at the southern camp where the escort starts off for about hour yesterday, not to mention checking it every so often. I believe two escorts spawn from the camp, one for the Balthazar temple reinforcement and one that’s just a short escort outside the camp. The smaller escort spawns on time every 20-30 minutes with no problem but I’ve yet to see once the other escort. I’m sure with a server restart this would be a temporary fixed which I am def not opposed to every so often till a more permanent fix is implemented. So go go Anet let the restarts begin!

So I heard the major DE’s break on higher population servers due to the amount of times they get done. Whether this holds any truth what so ever I don’t know…has anyone attempted a xfer and noticed its been working on lower pop servers?

Seriously when is this going to get fixed? On ET we have been stuck on awaiting reinforcements from the south for over a week now. Other servers are having similar issues. I can understand if a few events don’t work here and there but this is a major zone wide one. Not to mention my twilight crafting is on hold till I can spend that karma…

So Anet, what’s the deal with this?

I’ve spent the past 2 hours trying to figure out if these can be made and how; or if they simply drop in the world. (I found one karma seller in the Firelands who sells recipes but they were for level 60 blue greatswords. In weapon smithing the only exotics available req 400 skill and they are level 80. There’s a ton of level 70ish greatswords on the trading post and I’m wondering how people are getting them.

Basically I’d like to mass make these to put in the mystic forge to attempt to make dusk.

Can anyone provide any info?
