Both my gf and I cannot buy Gems, we get the following error message: “An unfortunate error has occurred. Please try again later.”
We were both trying to purchase through Paypal. Not sure if this is a known issue or if its just us for some reason.
I tried to search the forums and reddit to see if anyone posted a similar issue.
Anyone else getting the same error?

Yeah, same thing, I bought my girlfriend the HoT Expansion the same time I did, but the second purchase (which was hers) was refunded and her account was suspended. She sent a ticket to them yesterday, how long does it take for them to fix this issue?
I would love to see ads on NYC buses. All white banner, red dragon logo on right corner, some text on the left, like: “Join the ever growing community, and help save Tyria!”. Then in the bottom: Visit us at Guildwars2.com (Facebook, Twitter logos etc)
My issue is that I only have two guest passes (guess pass more like) to see whether I can get into a server that isn’t on overflow. I lucked out on IoJ, then I got booted from the game, went back… OVERLFOW! This really makes me want to not even bother with this event. This is obviously game-breaking for me, and each server has it own overflow? Why not combine them? O.o Please find some way to fix the capacity of players per map, and the overflows should be a mix of many servers. I though it was, but today when I get sent back and forth into overflow I realized I wasn’t in the same one.
Still no word on tonics?
I used my Plush Griffon recipe yesterday and I still don’t know anything… I’m very annoyed. I don’t like this :[ I was so happy.
Edit: I remember going on TP (after consuming the recipe) and looking up how much the recipe went for (2g at the time) and it said “you already learned this recipe”, now I go on TP (its 40g now) and it doesn’t state I’ve learned it. What’s that about?

I’m having issues as well. Both paypal and credit don’t work. Its… sad :O
