This guild was made only a short time ago, we started because a small group of friends decided they’ve had it with the large guild issues and drama and moving servers on us. We wanted to have our social fun guild back. So This time we decided to make it ourselves. We are a small scale social guild focused on the people within the guild.

We are PVX because we love this game and even though we’re all working adults we spend our spare hours playing this game because we love it. We currently are only a small group, but we are open to players new and old. We’re happy to teach, or learn from other players. What is most important is keeping the tight knit group dynamic of the guild going forward.

We are all English speakers on the NA servers. While we currently a multi server guild. we’re actually in the middle of deciding if we want to join forces in a new server for the times we’d like to do WvW. Membership, is open to all servers regardless of our choice, 90% of the content is multi server available.

Mainly active in the late hours of PST, from 7 pm to 3 am PST. You might be wondering about the guild name, the story came about from our guild fractal runs, the push to 50 was hard and even harder when we kept rolling fire shaman or some other mishap would happen almost intentionally among guild members. We like to have fun, so instead of getting frustrated with setbacks or hard fractal runs we started calling out invisible debuffs we triggered during the fractals. (debuffs in fractals are called instabilities). You could say our motto is, we’ll have fun with hard content… one way or another. To that end we will do almost anything our guild members are interested in doing, but I doubt you’ll see us get super serious about the game. (cept maybe those pvp leagues, several members want those legendary wings)

So running a gw2 guild might be new to us, but we’ve run other guilds and we’re experienced veterans at most of the games content, I hope that you’ll consider us as a trial, the most important thing for us is that our guild members get along and have a good time.

So more massacres, mayhem, and destruction in your words. Why is that since the start of this Living World (although I may risk saying that there were signs of this in the vanilla game as well) the only way you guys seem to be able to drive the story forward is through mass killings and calamities (that often draw parallels with real life modern attacks on innocents)?

Remember this picture attached to the Story Journal reveal page? I can’t decide whether it’s hilarious, ridiculous, or outrageously imbecile and depressing that it’s a spot-on summary of your entire storytelling to date…

What sort of stories would you like to see?

Tell us a story, that is worth telling. Ah, and don’t hold back on new maps, like real ones, not map teasers…

Tonight I am finally gearing up to check out the new story, all this forum hype instead of negativity has had me regretting these long 16 hour days this week. I think the anet team learned a lot from season 1 and the story kept evolving with each lesson. The time you guys had to go from season 1 to season 2 was just the break you guys likely needed to really implement new story details and hooks that you didn’t know or could perform before.

You can’t please everyone, you shouldn’t feed forum trolls. I think the team deserves a pat on the back for taking the very unique stance on self improvement in a MMO.

As far as your question goes that wasn’t directed at me!

I’d love more story like the initial ark of the personal story, discovering things that relate to my character but may not necessarily be about my character.

I’ve love to see the story feel more like a group effort (I think you guys are already doing this from my reading) I know I love to roll into story instances with my friends. As a group of heroes as the story focus with our new NPC friends I think you have a powerful focal point.

Then finally, I’d like to see some public choice based development around the reconstruction of lion’s arch. Like stylistically deciding between what group of carpenters rebuild the buildings (for the look). Letting the players choose if we want the city to be more militaristic in the rebuild like high walls with air cannons or if we want to open it back up as a trading port with the world.

Given how people are still announcing their allegiance to team gashblade (go evon!) I think these type of choice story events can be good for the community as a whole.

Best bet is to wait for them to do a crawler to find all users who have completed the achievement set but do not have the watchknight in inventory and then they’ll gift it to you.

but a crawler like that would take week or so i’m thinking.

and all the percentages end with a zero because I only ran 10,000,000 random trials for each set of results, in order to save time. for more accurate results I’d need a lot more runs, so sometimes I’ll run 10,000,000,000 random trials overnight (it takes about 4.5 hours to do that many samples for NA, and around 7 hours for EU because they have more servers).

Early on in my Guild wars experience I roamed the worlds looking for a server that fit my and my friends needs in terms of community and WvW presence. It wasn’t a sense of bandwagoning it was more a sense of where I wanted to hitch my trailer to and build up a home.

It took five server transfers before I stumbled into BP, where I met some friendly commanders and watched some epic small scale fights in WvW. I thought okay this is a decent place to set up shop and did.

Yet my rewards were much greater than that, as I soon found friendly guilds to support my PvE exploration, grizzled veteran members of WvW who taught me tactics and turned me from a PuG to a contributing member of a guild. A silly community in lion’s arch often found dancing in front of the bank for some kind of show.

As I put up my feet and relaxed the server’s community grew closer, finding friendly rivals servers in the lists. Faceing tough times and occasionally steamrolling like all servers but what marked BP different in my book is a server that never gave up the fight. They kept their nose to the grindstone kept fighting kept learning.

Now with a new teamspeak the server is poised to grow even more as a community. Open lines of communication have made members more effective more intelligent, and more deadly.

Borlis Pass, is a server with heart, and by our powers combined we can summon a mighty spirit.

All the more reason to get it. Awwww yeaaa

if not I’d say put one in.

I figure they recently changed how many badges drop in wvw significantly and new items take time to generate and test for viability. There is likely a lot of balance going on behind the scenes for new WvW exclusive ascended items.

could be the start of ascended armor only found in WvW but who knows till then.

So first time poster go me!

I want to be one of those positive guys who says something nice about the match up before people go back to throat slashing over the score or complaints or whatever.

I joined BP just before the free server transfers shut down. Since then I’ve enjoyed my time on this server. When we were in T7 I recall working with them as we all fought our way up to T5 fought with them as we built the current rivalry with AR to the point where the battles were exciting and fresh.
I know rawr rawr we don’t belong here says ebay trollhards. Yet we do just like AR belongs here this tier is where we ended up after weeks of climbing and falling and learning from the WvW fights. The system could use a some more volatility for wvw ranking where the matches might change a little more often so that Ebay can jump up or one of the other servers could fall down. Yet the fights continue and yes ebay is winning so you go you forum warriors thumb those chests and shout to everyone that you’re the best in T5 and that you can be super awesome in T4! The rest of us non trollhards will enjoy the fights we have.

The fights I’ve had as a small group running with SaF have been the best group fights I’ve ever had. Noteable fights that were “evenly matched” was with a group of GH from ebay and a group of VT from AR both were excellent fights often our small group was outnumbered but they lasted both sides wiped. Let me stress again… it was fun! The same kind of fun others are likely having while the forum cold war continues. If you can’t find it then I’m sorry for you and hope that one day you get your dearest wish of an enemy somewhere who makes your jumbles happy.

Till then I want to thank the guys who might read the forums and feel discouraged like I’ve felt. There is fun to be had even in the middle of all the hate ons going around. There are great commanders on all sides and the thing I want to say to BP that I saw in recent posts talking about barren team speaks. I suggest trying to advertise a bit more about the BP forums and the BP team speak. I know as a pug I knew nothing about the teamspeak options for months until I joined a guild and it was briefly mentioned.
