Only if there is a one minute cooldown, or even longer. I am normally DD, but I carry a staff and scepter just in case. Having a slot to put them in where I could switch would be nice… but the timer would have to start as soon as combat does, that way it can’t be abused.

For example…
Im in a fight with my staff. As soon as combat starts, my switch button greys out and the timer for one minute ticks down. After a minute, its usable.

Most fights would be over in a minute (at least in WvW, if someone is attacking you, it should be) So that doesnt leave room for huge damage/healing abuse until a minute in, and unless you are good at strafing and dodging, you will either have killed your opponent or died by then.

Jumping into this real quick…

1. If the account server was hacked from ArenaNet’s side, there would be thousands of people whos accounts would be compromised, and the forums would be flooded. That is not the case.

2. If the password she used for her GW2 account was used ANYWHERE else, it loses its security. Most people tend to use the same password for websites, thinking its secure. The only way she could have gotten hacked like this is if it was a weak password that she had used on another site, otherwise ArenaNet would have detected the thousands of tries on the account to “brute force” the password.

3. Once you get the account, I’d change the email address on it to a completely new one (make a new one if you can) that way it can’t be associated with anything except for guild wars. It’s an extra level of security if you don’t have a smartphone for the authenticator app.

IF you are an elementalist, you can use the lightning teleport in order to shimmy out of it… Not sure if its a bug. May also work with other skills that teleport.

I never noticed that before, I’ve only run front door and teleporter consistently, and didn’t notice the change in tactics with him. I’ll keep that in mind while I run it another 6+ times for my dagger skin.

All paths are virtually the same, the last boss does the same thing. Front door is ok- you can back off and dps. Teleporter is not fun, and I don’t remember sub that much. I never have the volume on to listen to the sounds because I’m on vent and have GW2 muted.

I understand it’s supposed to be hard, I get it.

Does anyone else have major problems with him? My main complaint is the red circles that cover 3/4 of the floor, that make it almost impossible to dodge. You dodge once, he does it again, dodge twice… and if you are lucky you have a utility/skill dodge, so you can dodge again. After that, you are done. 1 hit KO’s I can deal with (I’m a toughness/vit/power built Ele, and I understand I’m squishy, no complaints there) but the fact is is that I can barely slip an attack in before I need to dodge away.

IF there was a waypoint closer, then It wouldn’t be such an issue.

Exactly. It doesn’t have to be a drastic, dramatic change… Just enough of one that one would notice a difference.

Exactly what the title implies… Change your weapon color scheme, except for the blades of your weapon. Hilt, crosspiece, staff head, ect.

My Naga Tang doesn’t go well with my blue/white scheme, otherwise I wouldn’t even have thought about dyeing weapons.
