400 hero points is a lot of points to get when you completed world exploration years ago and had been using the points for crafting since then. I’m not sure how this idea got through QA testing but the pacing is just awful.

Why so many? On top of that exp gain from dungeons and other things seem to be so much lower now =’(

Here is a solution to all QQ’ers.
1. Make new characters so you have no open character slots.
2. Get those characters to Lions Arch
3. Park them at the jumping puzzle in the top right of the map
4. ??? (Get the chest on a daily basis)
5. Profit.

I have 7 characters sitting at that JP chest and i get about 1-4 Silver doubloons a day from this method.

You all can thank me later by showing me screenies of your juggernaut.

What is the solution now that they characters are removed from LA on login?

Why GW2 does NOT need a LFG system like WoW

I’m personally against dungeon finder tools the way they’re used in WoW and some other recent MMOs — automatically generating a group for you and porting everyone to the dungeon. The game really does need a more robust LFG tool, though.

A window that allows players to quickly select the type of content they are looking to do from a drop-down menu (Open World PvE, Instanced PvE, tPvP, WvW), and then allows them 140 characters or so to post a more detailed comment, would work out far better than what we have. A 2nd tab on the LFG tool would show everyone on the server who is currently flagged as LFG — with all the info like Character Name, Profession, Level, Current Zone and Type of Content Selected that can be clicked to sort, as well as filters to narrow the search for certain content, level ranges or professions — with right-click functionality so we could whisper players straight from the window. A little pop-up on mouseover could show each person’s comment.

I totally agree with the above post. Although I’d like to see functionality based on whether or not a player was searching globally, or locally on their server. Maybe make it global by default, and disable some categories since guesting doesn’t work (dungeons obviously still do though). For local searches categories such as open world pve would be available.

Additionally having subcategories for each dungeon would be nice, but as mentioned above, I do not want it to load straight into the dungeon. I think there is value both for the story, and variety in completing the quests to unlock dungeons.

Global "LFG" UI and Feature

Pretty please develop something like this. It would solve the LA chat floods for LFG as well.

1.) Make it global please! Perhaps server select ability as a filter, off by default.
2.) Enable players to choose common options – each dungeon, WvW, or exploring / area clear (limited to server only until guesting is available) WITH the ability for entering custom messages.

In my opinion if all personal story quests have been fixed (which they seem to be), implemented this should take a very high priority.

I can confirm this also, after defeating the three sharks the quest only shows credit for two.

-Update: while posting this and alt-tabbed out of game, somehow I go credit for the quest. My guess is another player must have started/attempted it.

Unsure about D/D stat distribution

I would not recommend using D/D for the things you mention, D/D is much better suited to general environment PVE. You will lose some of the nice damage capability attempting builds that opt for survivability needed to support up close play in WvW & Dungeons at the cost of vital crowd control. D/D does provide the best alpha style damage of the weapon sets though, and in support of that 30/30/0/10/0 works best for me.

If used the way I am explaining there is no need to get tanky armor or jewelry in support of heath or toughness. Instead everything is in power, precision, crit damage. With optimum gear you will have around 60% crit chance, 80%+ crit damage and over 3100 attack. Burning speed, dragons claw, fire grab and arcane burst and wave will finish most mobs very quickly, especially since dragons claw attacks fast and has 3 hits per attack.
