Thanks for the help guys,I can see things more clearly now. I realised I already have a ton of fragments, and some other mats to begin with.
First of all, there’s probably a topic somewhere discussing this matter, but i haven’t found any on the first page so I’ll automatically assume there’s no active topic about this. Anyway, thanks for any replies in advance.
Now, to the point…
I haven’t played GW2 in a while,I was never an “active” player for too long,so I have little knowledge about crafting Ascended gear. I already checked some recipes and noticed that I’m gonna need a kittenload of materials, money, and time to grind them. Thing is, I have absolutely no idea where to begin ,so I’d like some help from anyone who has knowledge and experience about crafting ascended stuff.
It would be great if spears would be usable as 1 handed non aquatic weapons. It would be a standalone weapon category of course, separated from the aqua spears. Usable by warriors and rangers (most logical professions),and maybe by necros.
Here’s some basic skills ,I just found them out so don’t expect much balance or logic in them.
Warrior (main hand only)
-Basic attack:
-Stab your foe.
-Stab your foe again.
-Deliver a massive attack that inflicts bleeding.
-Devastating Thrust: Damage your foe with a powerful thrust and apply 5 stacks of vulnerability.
-Sharp Assault: Strike with such force that it carries you forward, damaging your foes in your path.
Ranger (off hand only, acts as a ranged weapon)
-Shattering throw: Damage your foe while inflicting bleeding and vulnerability.
-Powerful Toss: Throw a powerful javelin, knocking back and stunning your enemy.
Necromancer (off hand melee weapon)
-Path of Pain: Extend your spear in a line in front of you, inflicting poison and bleeding to enemies in it’s path.
-Circle of Stakes: Stab your spear into the ground, creating a circle around you that applies cripple and bleeding to foes standing inside it.
That’s it,Im looking forward to hear your opinions and suggestions.
Yes,that fixed the problem. Thank you.
Hello,
So i bought a new PC with a 1920×1080 monitor resolution (my old laptop had 1366×768),and when I installed the game and configured it,after a short gameplay I noticed a small bug. In my inbox at the signature part in mails the “-” character had been replaced. Also it appears in mob ability descriptions. I attached a screenshot about the bug. I tried to change the resolution, didn’t solve the problem. I haven’t tried reinstalling the game yet.
I hope someone can help me get rid of this.
I know some people don’t give a kitten about activities, but they can admit it too, this was a bad idea. Most players play occasionally, because they feel like playing that specific minigame. Now that the freedom of choice is gone, people will lose interest and probably play to farm achievements and such.
edit: And probably no one will ever read this thread because people don’t care about activities (anymore)
.
Well,Keg Brawl sucks anyway…

I absolutely agree. Mass producing living world content always gets out of hand. Yet another slap in the face for the casual players.
It’s always good to see some new content, but this is getting out of hand.
Living world events draw the majority of the population to one particular place or event chains, leaving the rest of the World abandoned. Also, because of the mass production of contents nowadays people have to grind rewards/achievements etc, considering the amount of time until the end of the content, and because most rewards are single use and/or soulbound only,it must be completed repeatedly if you want to acquire them with alts .
Conclusion: Another slap in the face for the casual playerbase.
What are you guys think about this?
