“Disorient, stupefy, confuse!”
cmon get this fixed, its annying
Thanks.
The forum community does not fail me!
If one wanted to make this little puzzle intuitive, you would have the wind streams actually stop when the flags also stop moving. Whats with having wind streams still blowing, but apparently the flags stop blowing. That’s what makes this puzzle so difficult.
Hello people of the forums, I come to you asking what is that weapon I have ‘boxed’ in the attached picture?
It looks like a severed arm, but i can’t find anything related on the wiki except for the severed dagger skin.
An example where this has applied to me, I’m on the bonus level, Jade Maw of fractals.
A player is downed near a crystal. I’m targeted by the boss. I’ve used up all my dodge/evade skills. So I must pick up a crystal or I will be downed. Well I get near the downed teammate who is next to a crystal. I press my F key, and instead of getting crystal, I start reviving.
Then I start trying to jerk my character away from reviving by spamming keys, anyways it all ends with a bunch of key spam and then I get downed.
Really, make separate binds for looting and reviving ideally. Then there’s other environment interactables.
Just a possible thing going on here, sometimes stats aren’t updated correctly in the Hero window, but they are functioning correctly(its what people said on wiki, I never tested it myself).
For example: Sigil of Accuracy, “The extra critical hit chance is not visible in the Hero’s Panel, but is applied normally.”
That of course could not be the case in particular with the one in this thread. Either way, the stats on the Hero page needs to be fixed so it updates with all bonus effects.
horribly made quest, the constant wind streams make it look like the wind is ALWAYS blowing, stupid illogical mechanic
The actual solution to the thread starter’s problem was to complete the event he was in(talk to all the required people and watch the cutscene) AND leave.
Then RE-ENTER the instance. The second time you enter, the guard will not be there.
Please fix this 4 month old bug. I’m sure a lot of people may have noticed this bug doing the explorable runs in Ascalonian Catacombs because ice bows and fire swords(conjured weapons) are favored for killing the burrows.
For my case of this, it was very noticeable. I was playing my Necromancer using:
Mainhand Dagger with a Superior Sigil of Blood
and an
Offhand Warhorn with a Sigil of Hydromancy.
Whenever I was in ‘combat’ and I picked up an Ice Bow(which was conjured by a elementalist in my party), I would see the animation of the Sigil of Hydromancy activating, and then I would have no bow in my character’s hands, nor would I possess the Ice Bow’s skills.
Just like the Thread Poster’s image, I DID still have the conjured ice attribute and the conjured ice charges status icons.
The Sigil seems to activate whenever I pick up anything that’s not considered loot while in combat.
Here are some other threads with the same bug mentioned:

I know I’m replying to an old thread, but I’m adding new info. In GW1, you could press a key for ‘Cancel action’ which would make you stop attacking, stop moving, or using a skill. It was pretty useful in PvP and gave players an advantage over those who don’t use it.
The ESCAPE KEY does exactly this, but now I’m confused I can’t find it in keybinds.
An alternative is under Miscellaneous>>> Stow / Draw Weapons.
It will immediately stop skill activation as well as attacking, but you will keep moving if you were doing so.
I didn’t know about clicking the ground to stop attacking, thanks for that.
Summary of what I got out of thread:
Clicking the ground= wait for your current skill to end, then stops attacking, does not affect movement
Escape Key=stops current skill, stops attacking, stops movement
Stow Weapons=stops current skill, stops attacking, does not affect movement

4. Broken Armor
>> Although my armour was broken several times, the hint to visit a Repair NPC never appeared, even when hovering over the small red shield next to my life orb or in the inventory.>>> Solution that worked after experimenting: equip and un-equip the broken piece of equipment several times. I think it activated the hint after the third swap
THANK YOU!. Took me about 30 swaps, no joke. This needs to be fixed.
