Having a similar issue here since midway through the event last year.

If I’d never done it before I’d be inclined to believe I’m just terrible at it, but I was doing well at it last year and got the meta achievement pretty quickly. It just stop working for me after a patch last year and the timing has been screwy ever since.

I’ve tried a couple of times this year but given up doing it getting either the dailies or the meta.

Same issue here. 64-bit updating at 1Kb/s. 32-bit updated in a few seconds and working fine.

Work-around seems to be to go back to the 32-bit version until ArenaNet fix it. The 64-bit is still in beta, after all.
