Guild Wars 2

ET died because of a toxic culture full stop. There is nothing else to discuss here. Guildwars is a game which was voted the most inclusive community but it is just not existant in ET. Lets just start the server mergers and hope that the toxic few leave because they can’t beat their chests about being ET since they were T1 in the first week the game came out. Every guild that has left has done so due to some form of conflict which destroyed their sence of loyal. The no fights arguements is the nice way of excusing leaving. Ive said it before but a toxic culture will not promote growth. The guilds who come down are met with contempt and rudeness which wears then causing them to leave. #nomoreet15

Does anyone else find it ironic that the complaints are coming from GoM the bandwagon server of season 2. There is nothing worse than a used up bandwagon server.

Priceless. I say convince Ajax to return to ET. That’s what we need! He and the other remaining map trolls can fight to see who can make the last few still stubborn enough to stay on ET rage quit.

I think it is a general consensus among ET that we will not pay for transfers, because for all we know some guild could come waltzing down, pick up some numbers then move out again. It makes me feel like ET is a farm for upper tier servers some times…..

Got to ask, what numbers? There is no risk of this during ocx coz there is no one. (Can’t recruit non existent players)

We have the worst night crew of any server, and it’s got that bad that it’s not worth logging into wvw because you will be alone. Maybe trying to find and fund a ocx guild to move isn’t such a bad thing. Coz until it is fixed we will continue to loose. The only reward for no night crew is PvF shame and teir 8.

I joined ET just before the leagues started (bad call on my part) and ended up in a guild which then left the server. But from everything I’ve seen from there we have potential if only some people would shut their mouths. DI left with 30 wvwers -> ET hated on them. AKD left with 35 wvwers ET hated on them. BoM left with 50 wvwers and we hate on them now. When you see the message below posted on match up forums its clear what the problems is:

“Heh… You’ll be amazed when don’t show up when you face a server that has a night crew too… You can keep them. I never liked Gilfirkin anyway…

I’m just amazed! Surely we should be looking to mend the broken bridges and bring people home rather than saying we are better off without them. What server in their right mind posts that they are better off without 50 active WvWers; or in fact 110+ that we have lost in the recent past.

ET short your S**T out or this will sadly be a very short experiment in coming to your server.

We’ll a little birdy and a very reliable one at that has told me that a strong oceanic guild has held talks with the DR leadership and is considering transferring to them. If this is true and DR pulls off the impossible of convincing and oceanic guild to go bronze and go DR then they become a server to watch for the leagues.
See you on the battlefield week one I guess.

Guys I coped grief for my earlier post so heres why I posted it. We dont have a strong oceanic presence and part of that is due to map ragers. Simply put GoM has strengths but we want sustainable growth not a short burst. If people arent aware that we have a lot of map ragers in our oceanic times and they transfer thinking its all sunshine and rainbows then they will feel cheated and leave. Ultimately the moral hit from losing 20 hurts more than getting 20 people transfer in. Are we trying to keep our community friendly no doubt, but we still need to cull some bad eggs.

If we could just get those who rage at people in the map and make it unpleasant; we would be unstoppable.

Hey guys heres to the bottom 5 becoming closer and more competitive. Heres my rap up of the bottom 5 and I’ll post on all 5 in the hope they grow too. There are 3 groups out of those 5. DR/ET, AR then EB/Kain

DR/ET: These two are almost indistinguishable DR has a stronger NA crew but the ET nightcrew is massive. Either with a few transfers could be extremely competitive. Dr with oceanic tfrs and ET with NA. My pick is ET as NA guilds are easier to find, but if DR can grow their night crew they will dominate. Last match up DR won by 3k so too close to call with transfers.

AR: AR has bounced back then sunk then bounced back again. Currently they are in a slump. NA weak and oceanic is average. Would need a fair amount of transfers to compete with DR/ET but not out of the question.

EB/Kain: These two have both fallen and died. Kain has been 24th for awhile and EB is new to the bottom places. Its sad to see this happen. Lets hope they move up but it would take massive transfers.
