They will nerf Sword/Pistol auto attack. They will then be able to say that pistol whip isn’t less effective then auto attack.

Sure the evade on pistol whip is ok but it seems like black powder and auto attack are the better option now, the blind lasts longer and is aoe. I just don’t see a good reason to use pistol whip, maybe it’d be ok if they removed the initiative cost, but even at that I’m not sure.

Is there really any use for the pistol whip skill anymore? I was just in orr testing it out vs. the auto attack and the risen mobs I was testing against died in 17 seconds (lvl 80 magic find gear) whether I was spamming pistol whip or just using auto attack. I know that pistol whip has the stun, but why not just use head shot as it costs less initiative? This is a strange change that I’m not quite understanding, am I missing something? It seems that they should have just removed pistol whip and replaced it with something else maybe.
