If I had to guess the guy you fought probably just used the torment sigil on the bow and the occasional sword 4. Remember that sword 4 puts that little sword icon on your condi bar and it can’t be cleansed, as long as it is there you will continue to get stacks of torment so blowing your cleanse early is almost pointless.
As far as condi warriors are concerned, the fact that we can get so much defense out of 30 points in defense (dogged march, adrenal health, cleansing ire and defy pain) is what makes warrior so good. At that point you can stack pretty much all your gear traits to offensive stats and still be more tanky than most classes.
Is this fair? Maybe, we are a heavy class that is supposed to be offensive as opposed to guardians defensive nature, but cleansing ire is probably the best condi clear in the game when combined with fast hands and versatile rage and conditions are generically the best way to attack single targets. Add to that the fact that sword main and longbow are great at applying cone/aoe conditions and you have a very versatile fighter.
But before you go thinking warrior is teh uber leets condi killer you should look at the 3 kit condi engineer. If it wasn’t for the fact that I kill with fewer button presses with my warrior I would definitely play my engi. It might be harder but if played right it never dies.
Can’t speak for the entire alliance, but Os has strict rules against attacking enemy players. In WvW, Os members are only allowed to attack doors, walls and rabbits.
Since when can we attack walls and rabbits? I must have missed have missed that guild meeting … but i promise to make up for it and kill every rabbit I see from now on, preferably by throwing them at doors.
Oh we played for first, but we couldn’t get there, the difference is instead of coming up with excuses we accepted second. NSP on the other hand lost (ALOT) and couldn’t handle it.
AR “accepted” second by largely ignoring BP and making sure NSP got attacked on two fronts from wednesday to friday, for weeks straight. Not that I’m complaining, I never cared whether we won or lost, I just wanted good fights. Both BP and AR provided them the majority of the time, and I would hope both servers have a similar opinion of us.
And yes I realise you were not attacking AR, however I indeed was pointing out why you should be ashamed of your server.
I’m not ashamed of my server at all, a lot of us are very respectable and do a lot to advance our position. I am ashamed of a few specific members of our server that campaigned to demoralize our pugs for a week straight to further their own agenda even if it didn’t mesh with what the majority of the server wanted.

Whiskey flavored cookies ?
WHISKEY COOKIES
4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter or shortening
3/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
pinch black pepper (optional)
1/2 cup plus 1/2 tablespoon cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 oz. whiskey
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine dry ingredients, add whiskey, butter or shortening and milk. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350F on a lightly butter cookie sheet. Frost warm ball cookies with chocolate or whiskey glaze.
Whiskey Glaze: 1 cup confectioners’ sugar stirred together with a few drops of whiskey or vanilla extract (enough to make a spreadable glaze).

Indeed, its still better then third. I guess AR could have gave up to pick on lower population as well if we were as honorable as the great NSP.

That’s the attitude on AR that gets mocked so much. Once AR knows it can’t get first it plays for second. It is what the evidence posted earlier shows and what your own words show.
I honestly can’t relate to playing for anything other than first in a video game, so this mentality, and raygun’s for that matter, make absolutely no sense to me.
As for picking on GoM and HoD, true we outnumber them, but they have shown some great tactics and have still put up many great fights. Speaking from experience it lessens the fun being on either side of a numbers gap, but obviously a lot of people still are having fun and playing the game.

It is honourable to boast of your own honour? No.From what you said in TS, you would move off of NSP if free transfers came back for even a day. Which no one is really surprised at.
Of course it is great to have people working to improve our server, but purposely trying to make us lose so you can pretend that winning against much weaker servers is all you? That cries of someone who needs their ego stroked, you are not the person who is responsible for NSP victories, the people of NSP are.
You ask for people to stop trolling you, except you go around, publicly and privately bashing other guilds which are not yours. And we respond to that with posts like this, pointing out that you are not NSP. You do not represent even a fraction of what NSP stands for.

As we always play for a higher tier, not to purposely lose.Since Ronny has joined our server, we have gone from being nearly winning to losing and actually dropping a tier.
Anvil Rock as a majority were glad to see him go.
I can tell you there are plenty of people here who would like to see him leave also.

Got to say the golem rush on nspbl at 9 last night was pretty good. I was the dfa warrior at garrison that kept dive bombing your golems at water gate and hb’ing them before ducking back inside.
I think if the people in the golems had stayed on the gate the whole time you would have gotten through to inner before you got wiped.
The fact there was another golem group at our hills and bay at the same time made me really worried for a while there, and I loved how you guys switched straight to eb and wrecked us there while we cleaned up the mess you made in our bl. Good tactics all around, wish I had taken screen shots.
