As the title says, I just got to lvl 61 as Engineer, and have been loving Engineer so far. Didn’t realize how much i like using tools, and just feels so different from what i’m used too.
Anywho, i’m wanting to get into WvW and i see most people saying to either use grenades or bombs, and i’ve been using flamethrower for levelling.
Anyone have any advice for what to use and a good build? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Awesome, I appreciate all of your guys’ advice. I think I will stick with my Mesmer cause i do love the illusions, and being able to do some melee and ranged. I’m still pretty new to this game so i don’t understand all aspects but Thanks for your help on not letting people sway my interests.
So I’m not even sure where to post this but here’s my issue. I now have a lvl 80 warrior that I find boring. As soon as I hit 80 I rerolled thief and got it to 80 which I enjoyed but got quickly bored of and now am up to lvl 71 as necro, 30 something as mesmer which i like a lot of aspects but people in my guild keep saying sucks at PvP and wvw. So I switched to guardian which I like but now they are telling me I will never kill anything.
My issue is I can’t seem to stick with 1 character. I want to find a class that I can max out and get better at. I want to experience pve/PvP/wvw but as I search for what I might like I’m constantly seeking people complain. This class cant do this or that, etc.
I love this game and there are so many things that I want to see and do but I want a main to do it all on. I’m not asking for what’s most powerful.
My concerns i run into are if I go close range like guardian in wvw will I get stomped? If I go a class like mesmer can I do decent damage without a slight breeze killing me?
I hope this isn’t too scatterbrained I’m just spilling my thoughts out and hoping someone can give me some advice. I hope this is an OK place to post this question. Thanks.
