Guild Wars 2

I have 100% in every zone. 100% in WvW. Been to the Order of whispers. Been everywhere, done everything, and I am still 1 poi short of 100% completion. The only thing I have not done is the final mission of my personal story. is there a POI in there? If not… I’ done with the game. I have spent literally weeks looking for one POI, and it has taken the pleasure out of the game. Any help?

Double checked every zone. Been everywhere and done everything. No dice

I came in from the Asura gate to the OoW cave and ran out. I’ve done pvp on this toon, but I guess I can go double check that one as well, if it has a poi that counts toward world completion. I have 100% on LA, but I’ll double check those as well, though I have been to fractals and Southsun, so I should have both of those as well.

SO I have 100% completion on every map, including WvW. I have been to the Order of Whispers cave. I have been to the HOM. My map shows I have 718 of 719 points of interest. Any ideas on where an oddball poi might be that doesn’t show up on a zone map’s completion percentage? Because as I said, all zone maps show 100%

Any help would be appreciated. This is very frustrating.

You know, if you don’t know what server your friends are on by now, maybe you should take up a different hobby…

It’s time to lock these servers down and let people start building a stable community. We are never going to have a stabilized population or any kind of server based community as long as entire groups of people are just hopping to whichever server is winning a particular match up.

It’s been long enough. people are not transferring to “play with their friends”. They are transfering so they can be “winners”. I won’t get in to the irony there…

My guild’s working hard to kick kitten in TpVp and this bugs killin’ the dream devs. Please resolve this issue promptly.

I don’t get what the problem is here. For those of you who “miss the trinity”, IT’S NOT GONE! All you have to do is uninstall GW2 and go back to WoW, or whatever else it was you were playing.

This is like buying a car and then complaining that it doesn’t have the features you wanted WHILE the car that did have the features you wanted was sitting right next to it on the lot! Instead of picketing outside the factory for the manufacturer to make your car the way you want it…buy the other car.

It’s a sad fact that while the “casual gamer” is a source of revenue for the game companies, they are at the same time destroying the games they play.

“I don’t have all day to play!!” Well guess what…that means you don’t get all the same things that people who DO have all day to play get. This whole idea that everyone gets a trophy just for showing up is what’s wrong with both games and society.

No Skippy, life’s not fair. Deal with it.

I agree with pretty much everything you have said here. As a husband and a father of two teenage girls I am aware of, and often embarrassed by, how some men act. However, I also tend to think that our pain threshold has been reduced to the point these days that everyone is offended by something pretty much 24/7. I usually tend to let most stuff roll off my back.

Nevertheless, I agree that a level of respect is due to everyone simply based on their existence. However, it is a fact of competition that occasionally you have to say to someone (respectfully) “You suck”. lol

You’re right. Doesn’t hurt me or anyone else for this guild to exist. I guess I only commented because the need for it, to whatever degree there is an actual need for it, reflects some things IRL that I generally don’t like.

You know, I fully understand the aversion to offensive jokes. I also understand if people are treated as if they are inferior, why that would kitten them off. I am not so clear on this whole issue of being “hit on”. This is not simply an issue in video games. It seems that just in general life men are somehow looked down on for attempting to strike up conversations with women they find attractive. Which is a bit perplexing, as we are the only species on the planet that I am aware of that finds sexual advances by members of the opposite sex offensive. Were men to halt entirely their advances toward women across the board, the human race would cease to exist. This is basic biology, when you take the politics out of it.

With regard to my “this is sad” comment, what I find sad is that everything under the sun has to be turned in to a cause. Whether it’s because of jerks on the internet, or special interest groups with an agenda. Whatever the reason is, it’s sad to me that we cannot even sit down to play a game without all the politics and segregation based on class, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Speaking for me and mine, none of us give a crap whether you are a man or a woman. What we care about is CAN YOU PLAY. If you cannot play, then you cannot play. You don’t get bonus points for being a man and you don’t get special consideration for being a woman. You are good at what you do, or you are not. Period.

I thought MMO’s were about content, pvp, dungeons, interacting with other people, etc. I guess I was wrong.

Why do people keep using this term “pro teams”? Pro is short for professional. professional means you make a living doing whatever you are a professional at. Unless I’m missing something, I seriously doubt that there are a bunch of “pro teams” in GW2. If I am missing something, please let me know. I’d love to replace my income by sitting around the house playing video games. The catch is, it has to pay 6 figures. Anyone?

Wow… It’s actually sad that we’ve come to this. Even in video games.
