I have the same problem.
And just like you i just found it out last night.
I opend it after the game restart (new build) and then i got the same error screen.
I dont know if that is the origin of the error, because i havent opend that window for some time.

I belive that the suport is doing its job as good as they can at this time.
I also belive (like tolunart is saying) that there is a flag that caused the ban/suspend accounts.
I even dare to say that they are right to ban mine account cause it seems to be hacked (found that out today)
So its normal that it got banned and that we are in a progress to work it out for its released again.
So if you aren’t guilty of realy breaking the rules, and can provide all the help they want… it will all work out

Multiple tickets only slows down the progress…. for you and for other people.
one of the reasons that it takes so long is because they need to sift trough all those tickets.

Ok im normaly not a person that is standing on his stripes and is very patient.
But its seems that i need to post a Topic to receive some responce.
Today i found out that i have been hacked.
I already had a ticket open about being wrongfully accused about gold selling or helping with.
With no response as of yet.
But today wen i looked on my little brother his account i see myself logged out on a US server called Crystal Desert.
But all of my character are made on a EU sever called Desolation.
So it seems that my account has been hacked instead of being wrongfully accused.
And that i have opend a wrong ticket for it instead of one that maybe has more urgency to it.
Please can you people look at because im a little panict now.
I only played a couple of weeks, but i already put a significant amount of money in it with buying gems
I dont want to put the amount in here, because that is not for the public to know.
But now i have the feeling that i lost everything that i put into that account.
At least i will have my character slots and bank slots if i can get it back, but i cant check atm if i still have all the costumes that i spend it on.
So please can i get a PM or something that there is being worked on and gives me a little comfort.

I know… at first i also disliked to miss the event.
But that feeling passed, and now i more glad to get my account back.
And true …nexst year is a long way off, but there will be more events then this one to attend to.

They are working on a way to restore accounts for people that are for example hacked.
But atm they dont have the a way to do it.

But yes rafaelhen, people that are in there rights have gotten there accounts back.
There is also one in the 3 day’s topic that has his account back a few minutes ago.
So just wait a little longer and it will all work out.

Yup , i dont understand people that uses gold seller in game if they have a perfect working system already in game thats legal.
I have used the gems store a couple of times already, and i like how it works.
So why compromise an account with goldsellers rubbish.
its just like buying a watch at a store or from just a guy on the street.
With one you know you have the real deal, and also have service and guarantee if something is wrong.
The one from the street is for sure rubbish or stolen and forget about service if it is broken.
Thats why i use the ingame store instead of a shady goldseller

Is it possible to stop the email authentication on log in?

If you connect a (mobile)Authenticator on to your account, it will stop the emails as default.
I got a info screen saying that the emails would stop because i have the authenticator connected to my account wen i activated mine.
And it ads a new layed of protection onto your account wen you use one.

Things I haven’t done: Bought Gold, Sold Gold, Sold Items, Bought Items, assisted in RMT, engaged in RMT, given away my password, been hacked (have used a mobile authenticator since available), bought a fake serial key, used any third party programs, had multiple attempts at account breaching, breached another account, cheated, exploited, been a naughty boy.
Praying I make contact with support soon.
Its the same for me… most of it tho.
Im not realy sure about not being hacked.
I also have a Authenticator on my account, but turned it off on the night for i got the ban.
I had conection errors in game, and thought i would be the same bug that happend at start of the event.
Authenticators linked to accounts that day got connection errors and disconects.
And i forgot to activated my authenicator for i went to bed.
Nexst day i had a ban for goldselling or helping with.
So as you can see, i had a little window that would made it possible to be hacked.
Especialy because the reason that i got the Authenticator whas that i got E-mails of log-in attempts from a ip location that i dont live in.
China is a long way from the netherlands

Thanks for explaining and giving your story Getzzzonked… couldnt put it to better words like you did
My english typing isnt that great (but that is also the problem in my own language)
And true.. i have seen also some posters that are feeling dubious .
But there are also some that feel like that they are truly honest.
So lets hope that those people get a chance to make a appeal and that they are helped with there accounts (me being one of them)
I still have trust in ANet and there people to do the good thing for there clients.

As far as i know thy dont have a rollback system in place yet.
Thy are working on one for the near future.
So atm just be glad that you have your account back.. and try to move back to your server(its free) and see if the guild is still in place.

Question Gaile, must your ticket 3 day’s old by date or by business day’s ? (between monday till friday)
Because my ticket is 3 day’s old now if i look at the date in my zone (gmt+1)

There is a Authenticator that you can use already (and i must say faster after release of the game then most of the MMos that i know off)
I have one on my account even.
Only my problem is, that i had disconected my authenticator to test a connection error in game.
At the start of the Halloween event there whas a Authenticator bug that resulted in conection errors and disconects.
Thy advised at that time to disconect the authenticator from your account until it whas fixed.
So wen i got a new conection error . i tried to shut it of and see if it helped.
It didnt, but i forgot to activated wen i went to bed.
And the nexst morning, my account got a ban.
So i think it got hacked (had a few log-in attempts from chine while i live in the netherlands for i got the authenticator)
So its also my mistake.
But for most peeps, i advise to get a authenticator.
It isnt waterproof, but i gives allot more protection.

I totaly agree with you … QQing and raging isnt going to help, not for them and not for you.
If i had the news you did i would even be glad, and know we had some progress.
But than again, i think the support needs a little time to read the info that i gave them.
(Updated my ticket so much with new info that it looks like the LOTR book already )
Only thing i can do is wait, and do some other stuff to keep my head clear of doom thinking.

hope so.. cause i started the 10th this month with the game and my friend list isnt that big at this time.. just joined a guild (pretty big one) but the only trade i had with those were the dye’s that you dont wanted or already got.
Or one of them is been hacked…. pfff i need to stop thinking like that.
Maybe better if i start playing Xcom in the ,mean time instead of looking at the forum evry 5 min.

Ya had the luck that i could look at the one time cut sene of the mad king popping out of the lion statue on my little brother his pc in the room nexst to me
But im more scared of losing my account than missing halloween tho.
Already bought gems a couple of times.. so its a expensive lost if i dont get it back

Im in the same boat as you getzzzonked, im trying to find out what happend.
And atm i have allot of things in my mind that could be the problem.
Almost at a point that i want to put a tinfoil hat on my head :P
But maybe we must use Occam’s razor instead, and just say i have been hacked then thinking like “what did i wrong to get this”
Ok i have a question, on the 27th when i got out of bed and wanted to log in, i got the message that my account has been terminated cause of selling gold or helping with it.
I know for i went to bed i turned of the Authenticator cause i had troubles with entering 2 new pvp zones in the mad kings realm that gave me conection errors.
And at start of the event there whas a Authenticator bug that also disconected me cause of conection errors.
The tip then whas to turn of the authenticator at that time, so thats why i tried it again.
I know for sure that i forgot to put it on when i went to bed,
And the nexst day i lost my account.
Am i hacked and those peeps got me banned or do you think its somthing else.
I had emails with log-in attempts from locations that i dont live in(the reason why i put the authenticator on my account)
And seems i didnt see the warning to change my password (auto log in function at the launcher)
It seems that if you see that warning it meens that your account is compromised.
So what do you guys think, im i hacked and do i need to make a been hacked ticket ?
Or still use my Banned/Suspended ticket that im using now ?

I dont hope that mey keybord (logitech G19) and my mouse (logitech G700) are the problem.
They even support these keybords cause i have a GW2 screen display in my little lcd screen.
True …the keybord and mouse has macro functions, but i never used them for that, i only use them as extra keybind points(im a keybind player instead of a clicker)
So that my pinky uses buttons that normaly are out of reach for me like the 6 to 0 buttons
Im to stupid to use macro’s , i even dont know how to set up those.

Thanks Tolunart because of you i am feeling less stressed about my Ban and have more hope that it will be ok (have all the paperwork to prove its my account)
And if its true that it isnt the copper thing, than the only reason i can think of is a hack.
I had some log-in attempts from other places that i didnt live in, and i know for sure that i disconected the authenticator the day that i got the ban.

Sorry if that disconecting the authenticator sounds noobies, but i know how to play games on my pc …and thats it, and i thought that those 2 problems were conected :P
But lets hope that the legit complainers have a chance to make a case. and get there accounts back.

Same here. i also got banned/terminated for selling gold or helping with it, but i havent done that.
I even bought gems from your store to buy extra char slots and bank slots and turned some gems into gold for my self.
So why should i sell gold and risk of losing that all ?
I think i got hacked when i was sleeping and those people did something that broke the rules, cause it played fine till i went to bed and had the ban the day after.
And true, i also hate to mis the event cause i worked hard to get the achievment as far as i got.
And now the chance to compleet it is getting smaller by the minute, and i love achievements.
But then again, i rather have my account back and hope i didnt lose everything.
And the timing is is painfull cause its in the weekend, but the support also need the weekend of like the rest of us.
So be patient and polite, it gets you further then ranting and QQ.
Remember we are all people that can make mistakes

I remember some gold in game mails, and i know that i deleteted them, cant remember if thy used the 1 copper trick or that i took 1 copper to delete the mail.
But i dont hope that i lost my account over accepting 1 copper, thats to harsh.
Hope thy can trace it back if i did, if so i apologize for that if that broke the rules.
nexst time i wile send those mails back and report/block that person who send it.

I dont want to make this a offtopic post, but i know the feeling.
I mentaly prepared today to go 100% for the clock tower jumping puzzle, but its a no go for me now.
I love doing achievments and love events cause you get exclusive achievements for it.
But now i must go look on my little brother his Pc to see the 28th 1 time event at Noon Pst.
Only hope my account can be fixed for the event ends, so that i still have a chance to get my achievments
