I’m not really sure if this a bug or not, could be just a suggestion or a sound issue….or nothing at all really O_o I just made a post awhile back about female human guardian sounds with the greatsword.
It’s just while attacking, ONLY with the greatsword, the female human makes these weird, annoying high pitched sounds. Here’s a video someone made of the sounds. I’m really only referring to the first two “bad” sounds in the video that are just horrible to hear:
These sound are not related to greatswords only but random.
My human female do the squealing sound while dodging and I like it.
If you prefer manly strong voices for your female character then you definitely should play a norn.
If you are looking at the first two “bad” sounds from the video, those only come from the greatsword sounds. Those are the only sounds I’m implying. I have never heard them come from dodging, which I just tested on my human female guardian. I don’t mind the “meh” or “good” sounds, the first two “bad” sounds are what sound funny and ONLY have I heard them with greatsword. It even says in the video description on youtube it comes from greatsword. I’m sorry but a weird high pitched zipper sound does not sound like squealing at all.
Get used to it, they do this on purpose, for reasons which I’m sure you can understand if you think about it, but not appropriate for this forum so of-course I won’t go into it.
I refuse to play female humans too.
I really don’t think those noises are for that type of reason. Plus if a good amount of people don’t like it, why would they keep it? It is very annoying to hear like how someone scratching on a chalkboard is a horrible sound.
I’m not sure if this is a bug or not but it’s been around for awhile, ever since beta. A few of the sounds a female human makes with a greatsword are just horrible and very annoying….Hopefully this will be fixed. The “bad” sounds are just unbearable -_- Here is a video with someone giving examples:
My friend and I noticed once you name a pet in a certain slot, that name sticks with all the pets in that slot. For example, if I used one of my water pet slots and named my pet Joe, if I was to ever switch a pet out of that specific slot, it would still be named Joe. Is this a bug? I would really love for each pet to have their own individual name.
I did try that but it seems to just be constant. I’m referring to the icon that looks like half a person and when you mouse over it it says contacts. In the beginning, I usually had a number like 1 or 2 showing how many of my contacts were on. Now, even if they are on, nothing shows at all for me to know unless I manually click on the icon and see my contact list. Just rechecked again and it’s on all my characters. My whole account won’t show the numbers.
Edit: It’s came back again =/ Can’t see the numbers still.
I can click on the contacts button and see my friends that are online, but the number over the icon never shows for me on one of my characters. Is this a bug?
Didn’t do anything for me =/ I’m not lagging or anything. I get like 30 fps on my one card, but I want to know if I can get higher. That download didn’t increase any of my fps when I turned both cards on. Is there any official news from Anet that Crossfire does work for GW2?
Is crossfire enabled for GW2? I have dual ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870s and I tried it with crossfire, but there seems to be no improvement between it on and off.
Is it possible to transfer your whole guild with their members to another server, along with the Influence Points? Or do we each transfer individually? I’m just trying to figure out if the IP will be lost if we do transfer the guild or if it’s even possible. Thank you!!!
