Please do this. I know you like excuses to force people to buy more bank slots, but we’ll buy them anyways as we collect more regular items. It’s annoying having to eat up space with prep items for cooking and with holiday ingredients when they should really go into the collection too.

Some of the different phases of the fight. I particularly like the one with my elementalist zapping him but good with lightning.

It works well for thief and street urchin characters to be barefoot. I also have an elementalist who has a cool “genie” sort of outfit that looks even better with bare feet. There’s a bunch of character concepts where I like no boots. Being gloveless is also better with some outfits.

The option is already there in game, it’d just be adding the same ability to the other slots.

Some of our gear is allowed to be toggled on/off as it is (like shoulder gear, head gear, and backpacks).

Can we have this option for all gear? More specifically, I really want it on the gloves and boots, though why not add it to all slots? A few of my characters give up on the stats of these pieces in order to look the way I like them.

Very impressed by how much content there is in this event! I had an absolute blast spending hours and hours trying to get up the clock tower with a friend. She beat it way sooner than I did, but we were laughing and griping and laughing and shaking our fists…it felt really good to finally get it the next day.

I don’t really understand why there’s 4 different scan options for the candy-powered scanner. It didn’t add anything to the experience for me having to cycle through them all every time, at least. It was fun running around trying to guess where the pages would be, we got the first few but soon were being dragged into places we had never explored. So google and advice from high level friends helped a lot.

The mad king dungeon is hilarious, I lost track of the number of times I fell or was tossed off the side to plummet to the ground below.

The PvP events were a fun diversion, quick bit of fun.

Love the devil horns! Hate the random black chest loot (didn’t buy any gamble-keys).

Labyrinth is crazy fun when you latch onto a group of other players and follow along for the ride. It’s also really helping me as I try to get through all the pumpkins and loot bags I need.

Overall, very impressed with how much work went into this! Probably the best seasonal event I’ve ever seen in an MMO.

GW2 has failed the test

Heh, I know. The title was a bit dramatic. But that was one of the first things I said to my friend when I went into a tavern for the first time. “Well, GW2 has failed the ‘can I sit in a chair’ test…”

Seems like such a basic feature, but one of the replies did have a good point with how variable the heights of the characters are.

And I’m loving the dye system and the town clothes feature, for sure. Though I haven’t found any other clothing yet.

I just have that “Really? I can’t sit in a chair in -another- game?!” reaction when I see a modern-day game without that ability. Maybe a persistent emote that generates your own chair would work, like someone said above.

I recently started playing GW2, and I’m afraid it has failed one of my most basic tests of support for RolePlaying in an MMORPG. It’s kind of amazing how many MMORPGs do fail this one.

The test is:
Can your character actually sit in a chair?

(And for bonus points:
Can your character sit in a chair and not look like an idiot doing so?
Is there more than one pose for sitting in a chair/using other furniture?)

GW2 has failed this simple test.
