Thanks. My GF who plays this game as Spring has known him for 12 years. His band The Pipe Circus has played the midwest for years. He’s been fighting sence 2009 and still playing, including SummerFest in Milwaukee WI 13 days after a surgery. As of a few weeks ago, thier is nothing more they can do for him. He’s been on the local new: nbc 14, and tmj 4. I welcome everybody to google him or go to his facebook page. His family wants him to know he did make it, and his music wont die with him. The last case I remember “proven” that person got kicked. There was SS and guild leader kicked them. They were reported and no longer in server. Hopefully other servers are doing the same. Too bad that is what this thread has become.

Yea, we should all 1v1, that would make wvw better…now the insults will come. For being in first place of tier comes these things, like insults, accusations.

Wow, look at all the publicity. Kainieng posting, Maguuma posting. Are we victims of our own success? I feel special. Keep up the good work, wherever it may lead you.

I been with DR from the begining, I always give props to other servers. AR, NSP, this has been the best competition we have had against DR since we climbed out of the hole in tier 8. But what dred and others are saying is that everytime DR starts winning we hear the same kitten. First its DR has no tactics, its only population. Then its night capping. Then and it happened here, its “you will get destroyed in the higher tiers.” Heard that about tier 7, then about tier 6. Now I hear it about tier 5, and even 4.

Like I said, this was some of the most fun I have had in a matchup. Atleast some of yall have us props for our tactics to where kain and ferg would never, only use the population excuse. We started at the bottom, maybe that is why some members feel so strongly, and a few of us stuck with it week in and week out to forge our movement upwards in the ranks. I just think DR members who have been here a longtime are sick of hearing the same thing everytime DR pulls ahead for a second week in any given tier.

You know why I left DR and left GASM, but since you want to keep bringing it up I’ll make it perfectly clear for you. I left GASM because GASM’s GL allowed the use of exploits against its enemies in EB using the terrain exploit that allowed for the destruction of siege equipment without being able to be affected by others trying to kill said player. Since said player was a RL friend of the GL, said exploit was allowed. Even if the problem was originally dealt with at the time, YOU were one of the 50% of said guild to say ‘Give the guy a slap on the wrist and let’s move on’. Yes that’s right, YOU were okay with the use of the exploit and 50% of the rest of the guild. Several others also were not okay with that and left GASM, just some didn’t have the meddle to stay removed and quickly rejoined for fear of being lonely I suppose.

So, at the time there were 8 of us, maybe 10, and we all decided with the amount of exploits that a server with barely a WvW presence in use had to use to win, that we all (8-10 of us) leave the server. With DR throwing matches (working the numbers against rating increases) that solidified our reason for leaving the server. Unfortunately we ran into a tool alliance on Anvil Rock that didn’t “get it”. They apparently do now, but not really our problem. We left 50% of our guild behind on AR and moved up to Maguuma where we’ve found semblance in the WvW population. We like it here on Maguuma and we won’t be moving again.

Honestly I hope DR makes it to T4, but like other servers that have a sudden population growth and zerging your way through Tiers against servers with quite a bit less population in WvW as you, eventually you’re going to run into servers with population and your chest thumping will come to a dull pounding with screams of “they must have had transfers” and “we’re outnumbered” again coming from the denizens of DR.

Sadly the state of WvW is….population = rating and rating = your ability to move up. When you hit your population equal which I predict will be maybe high T6, that’s where you’ll be for some time until more people move into DR.

But wtf, you bring up an internal issue that was resolved over 7 weeks ago, to stab me? Dude, only asked why you bragged about spying to other upcoming server. Storm don’t complain about the system, DR is living proof to get out of hell’s kitchen, you can’t accept that? Too bad I was in DR before you were wherever you think you come from. If you were, then you would know the hell we at DR have been through. But if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you weren’t there, and have no validity to talk.

ZOMGS we’ve got new tactics…..we’ll see when you get into T6…tho I’m fairly certain you’ll probably stop at T6 with your current pop, maybe T5, but doubtful unless you get mass transfers again.

Why did you leave DR btw? Atleast most of us earned our way up tiers. Most all in my guild were there at the bottom of the barrel. We didn’t just transfer up a few tiers and come back to forums to politely insult our former server. /snicker all you want and believe all you want, I know most of us earned to move up, we didn’t take the easy road out. One AR commander has been filled in on DR tactics and strategies….courtesy of a former DR member. DR relies heavily on its zerg now, unlike 7 weeks ago. DR will eventually run into a population that will be comparible and it will be sooner than later, unless they continue to get more server transfers in which case they’ll be another BP for the short term.

Thats ok we aren’t scared. Besides if it was you that informed this commander of these things, you have been gone long enough to not know what our tactics and strategies are. But thanks anyway for letting them know, whether it be true or false information I think we are all happy to see a challenge in the next tier.

in the early days, DR hade a few supply camp teams that would constantly annoy our enemies who greatly out performed us at the time. They never gave up, and those people are what made DR what it is now.

Amen to this, being the bottom rung is what made me better. Stick with it all who have despair, it will turn around. Old DR is living proof. GJ all, lets smash tier 6 DR.

The point isn’t about open forums? It is about pride. All someone said don’t get in our forums, i haven’t been in yours. Like I said, if anyone was in DR when it started knows. Months of losing, only taking camps, maybe +25 at most.

Good job all, even if Kain and Ferg can’t accept that, focus on your server. It is so petty to come here and post. I say good job cuz i mean it. and like I said, its not fair for low pop servers, but everytime i get some excuse, some reason, why I am not good enough as a DR. Too all we fighting, SF or henge, good job, keep it up, look only to ur tier server please. I dealt with too many excuses and too much crying to carry it over to the next, love u all

Why anyone talking about 1v1? That is not this game, i was sick of it in last tier. Its a game, and old game called war. But nowadays you don’t duel with eachother, there is no honor. You sneak up behind your enemy with a stick and club him. You lure enemies back to your secured location. 1v1 is just people with ego, and not facing reality, cuz in a real war, whether game or not, its about the army, team, squad, force, party, whatever, its for server. If you out 1v1 for glory of it, then your not helping your team, just ask kain and fergs.

I was referring to your coordination during that event. And, yes, you did have enough people to attack everywhere while we focused on Hills, the one place we knew we could keep, and still be able to rush through Garrison in about 3 minutes. You may have done so smartly (though whether or not it was on purpose, who knows), but against larger numbers it isn’t such a viable strategy, since they could actually fight you in the lord’s room, not to mention in more than one borderlands. And don’t cry about being picked on when I point out your fallacies.

How is it crying saying don’t put words in people’s mouths? Its ok though, I logged after leaving your BL so I didn’t even know you took our garrison, but since you brought it up, good job

It was like a race to see who could get to the lords room first. It displayed to me strategy and coordination, you know, that thing that doesn’t exist in DR right? What was also funny this is what Kain and Fergs been screaming for, but none even commented about it when I logged on this morning. Was a good defense Fergs, props, and also to DR’s who participated.

Lol. “Long and hard”? You had 2 alphas, 2 omegas, and 2 rams on every gate. By the time I could even get there, outer was down. We had time to build a cata and arrow cart by the time the next gate was down and at most 10 people there who arrived when I did. I also didn’t see anything but water gate and the south inner being hit. What are you talking about? And where was the coordination when 2 alpha golems took your fully upgraded garrison afterwards? Not to mention just about everything else. But no one wanted to comment on that…

Please, if you focused as much time on your own server as you do worrying about ours this would be a completely different conversation. Take that time and fix internal problems, try and recruit guilds from other dying servers, do whatever that helps your server, and stop worrying about DR so much. It is easy to attack us in the forums, and it sucks you keep losing guilds, but maybe that is the problem you should focus on, instead of bashing how bad DR is going to fail in next tier.

I love this tier actually, it was so much fun being on the low pop server with Kain. But with guilds leaving Kain and Ferg(instead of blaming guilds joining DR) it would be a nice challenge in the next tier. If we fail, or prevail no one knows yet, but acting like you do know is plain ignorance shining at its brightest. Now lets turn this forum into what it should be again, talking about good battles, giving props to one another, and enjoying “constructive” critism, not just targeting the server winning the matchups every week with any and ever little thing you can think of.

Just my opinion, keep up the good fights.

50 ppl vs 10 ppl or 50 ppl vs an undefended fortification isnt tactic. I have been on your server i know all that you as a server do. In even numbers you get whipped so dont beat your chest too hard around here. Did you transfer into DR like the other band wagoners or what?

Actually I was in DR when we couldn’t even get 100k points in a week against fergs or borlis. It wasn’t chest bumping. Just saying I don’t lose at something, and then point out the flaws of the winner. And I don’t listen to people who do such a thing. Btw you can only speculate what would happen with even numbers, since it is claimed to never have happened. Sorry for miss understanding, hopefully next week will be better for the fights.

Props to Ferg, your borderland is hard, you defend well. I agree with Stormwolf on most points. And to internal problems with Kain, it is our problem because it effects entire server. Haven’t people been begging for the good fights we had last week? That is not hatred, its the lust for competition. If anyone needs a break that is great, do it. Please test us at DR, if we ever do move up a tier we need to learn from all of our server. If DR gets stomped in next tier, then it will be another learning experiance. Please don’t give up, all servers.

Oh I’m not denying DR must surely have efficient small groups as well. I just don’t see a great deal of them…the zergs are indeed occupying a LOT of attention.
As for why our server numbers dwindle so much during the week…I expect it’s simply because a lot of people have day jobs and simply not as much time available as they do on the weekend.
SoS for example is a Taiwanese guild and working hours in Asia tend to be long (I should know, I work there myself). That’s why you’ll typically see the bulk of them for about 3-4 hours right about at this time of day on weekdays and sharply reduced number during other times of the day. This is enough time to cap a lot of stuff but sadly, not nearly enough to be able to hold it for extended periods of time whereas again, we’ve repeatedly captured and held Stonemist for 2 consecutive weekends now when everyone is on.
DR keeps winning these fights because they have (far) higher primetime numbers during the week than the other two servers. This can be easily deduced by the way the scores play out week after week. It’s an undeniable fact.
Not that DR is to ‘blame’ for that, you can’t blame a server for having more people on after all but it is rather annoying when people on DR claim their wins happen because of their “godly commanders” or “amazing fighting spirit” when this is simply not true.

Before I go, I work 45 hours a week, i have a child, so thats not excuse, remember, love u all, good wishes

For Kain, the “united” thing is hilarious. You need to realize how you guys held SM.

Fergs were invading DR 24/7 all weekend long till Sunday, Saturday night is when our little “alliance” finally got screwed by SoS it seems. So we stopped invading DR, all of DR came to EB, you guys got wiped.

All you ended up doing was pissing off a lot of Ferguson with the bragging about how amazing you guys are doing, and invading us at the same time.

In summary without us flooding DR map, where are they going? Our respected maps and EB. Enjoy, I hope that “moral” boost lasts throughout the week. Next time, think before leaping for joy about how you guys are doing so amazing in first and figure out why you’re there to begin with instead of screwing with the only ones willing to help you.

I want to keep hearing that, but don’t cry during the week, please, it hurts my ears when it so one sided, Devona’s, till the end.

I won’t cry, I held the entire KBL while Outmanned with 2-3 other people. Against Fergs and Devs. I died a lot, but so did they…our Supply Camps flipped a lot, but we always got them back. Devs are just upset they’re losing atm, so they’re coming in force, unfortunately, that force can’t be stopped when we have no one on. And -despite- being severely outnumbered, you still can’t take it all. So suck it.
