I run round for literally hours at a time finding NOTHING to do in the maps and when i do find something i need a group of 5-10-20+ people to even accomplish it, of which you’ll find said group maybe 1/5 times.
There is no possibility of completing ANYTHING solo and the maps are so sprawling and vast that nobody is ever around for you to cooperate with.
0/10, waste of money.
This is a post detailing a select few things i would love to see from GW2’s first large content release. It is bound to come eventually, people want new zones, new classes, new races and Anet are sure to know and deliver this.
This is what i want but i would love to read your posts on this subject too!
1) One additional race.
I would love to see one new race implemented, i say one because i believe the 5 we currently have are amazing and i want to keep it that way, 1 new race can be perfected and crafted to success like the others were. I’m not sure what, something exotic, something different. Ive always been a fan of the Tengu, personally.
2) More player interaction.
I say “player interaction” because currently we don’t do a whole lot for our teammates. It’s all passive-effect from our skills, our field combos. Its very rarely in GW2 that you use a skill or do something to specifically benefit one of your teammates. Sure you spam your boons, helpful condition removal and aoe fields for the greater good but you never stop to think “crap Capped has X and needs me to use Y for him!”. GW2 suffers from a complete lack of this. Player interaction is essential to making a game difficult IMHO. Anet tried this with the combo fields but they just have too little effect on the easy content the game has to offer.
3) Two additional classes.
I would make these classes more to do with the above #2, player interaction. Bring back the original GW classes focused on “holy”, religion, buffing, healing. Combine the dervish and the paragon to make some sort of inspirational religious zealot with huge buffing potential. Bring back the monk entirely reworked to have better offensive capabilities yet effective focused healing. Things like this could work wonders with GW2.
4) Challenging content.
I mean, come on, is your idea of challenging content really rushing through everything spamming everything you have on cooldown? The original guild wars had some truly challenging PvE content. Even if people could speedclear it or had it on farm it didnt take much to die or wipe in many of the end-game areas, they required careful pulling and routing to even complete “easily”. GW2 really lacks in challenging end-game content, Its all rush rush spam spam zerg zerg.
5) New zones!
Bring on the crystal desert, the ring of fire, shing jea island, Istan, vabbi, the jade sea, new undiscovered lands! All of these places have such great potential within GW2’s engine and creative design. I simply can’t wait!
Hi, i’m Capped and im looking for a skilled PvE guild for Dungeons, World Bosses, Fractals, Everything!
I dont have a list of accolades within GW2. All i have is my own skill. GW2 isn’t a hard game, if you don’t know something in this game you can follow somebody who does and be perfectly fine with minimal effort and brainpower. Monkey see Monkey do because the combat in this game is all the same. Dodge. Avoid AoE. Hit.
I walked into TA for the first time 3 days ago and was frustrated with the lack of skill from my PuG who had clearly ran it before, its infuriating to have to play with people who seem to be watching a TV show with both eyes at all times while playing. Im not even sure how i can be frustrated at the slow pace of content ive never done before. I ended up duo-ing the nightmare tree from 65% in my first run!
So there you have it, im looking for a guild of skilled players for all PvE content farming. I don’t have accolades, multiple level 80s, legendaries or complete knowledge of everything. I just have skill.
Please, contact me if you think you have the right fit for me, i’ll undertake trials or what-have-you to prove myself.
Save me from the PuG masses.

This is a suggestion i made on another website and decided to post it here to get some more opinions, i think its a solid idea that would expand the endgame in the way we all want. Feedback and suggestions welcome and wanted! I think i removed all the naughty words, sorry otherwise.
They need to add in difficult scenarios for end-game, if they dont want to go down the raid route, then how about open-zone events that are extremely difficult and have to be triggered in a certain way?
Open-world challenges, hard-as-****, need to be ORGANISED to complete (with 20+ people minimum i would say, so that even massive zergs of 50 get bum*ed.) Things like event chains in each area, or only the higher level areas. Or stand-alone bosses (like the 3 dragons we have now) in a secluded area.
Something like 10-15 of these things would provide players with something to do. (Although im not sure what the rewards could be, maybe chances of rare looking gear unique to that event and high level exo’s and mats.) And seeing as its open world, anybody can jump in and enjoy.
Zerging is an issue, and its hard to counter with the no holy trinity system (which, i love. **** dat shizzle.) as anyone can faceroll with marginal differences in success. (Light vs heavy armor etc)
Adding a power scaling system to these end-level events and the need for organisation that requires a select number of organised players (say 20) for things like CC, focused fire and whatnot (their job for ideas yo) would make these things have a distinct level of challenge that all these players are looking for.
With 10-15 seperate event chains or bosses in different zones nobody would ever be lost for something to do, if each one took between 10-30 minutes to complete and they all had a 1-2 hour “respawn” i think things could work out. Of course these numbers would need testing, theorycrafting and adjustment, this is all a base idea. With so many events available its possible for 5 or so to be on the go at once, so the entire server isnt camping X event chain or big-boss.
Also, to prevent the camping of said event chains, requiring a certain item to trigger the event would be a decent idea as players would be required to farm the item to trigger the event (which also gives them more **** to do, “meaningful” kitten) and then not waste it by gathering the organised group they would need to complete the event. Casuals still welcome to join in and experience the ride, but the organised group is required to start and complete the event.
