What exactly is tethering? The potential #5 DS skill states this:
Death shroud: New ability #5 – Dark Binding: You tether all enemies within a 600 range, constantly dealing Torment to them over time. At the end of the cast, Dark Binding immobilizes all affected enemies still within the radius.
Are they tethered to a spot or to the necro? If the necro jumps off a cliff…
Tether links you to one or multiple enemies, and at a certain range it breaks and the skill ends. I usually hate referencing other games, but look up Morgana from League of Legends. Her ultimate is pretty similar to this skill.
You can always transmute wing skin on your low level backpiece to a higher level item, but you will be destroying the low level backpiece in the process.

If I were to use a weapon or item skin, from what I know, it’s one use and then it’s gone. But if I changed the appearance of a weapon or item with the skin, is it possible to transmog to give another item the skin? I’m asking this because I’m only lv 40 on my guardian and want to use the wings on my back item, but I know one with better stats will come along, and I don’t want to waste the skin.
I personally love my Guardian because it just fits me. Support your teammates while dishing out some nice damage, and great in groups. But out of Mesmer and Engineer, I like Engineer better. I plan on making an Asura Engineer with colors based on Bomberman and going grenade pack for funsies.
We were doing the portion with the three mortar turrets. We wiped, went back, and Detha ran in and got taken to around half health. Then, all aggro disappeared, and the last mortar was built without resistance. As you may know, you then have to talk to Detha, but she was gone. We clicked and looked all around where the icon was on the map, but Detha was nowhere to be found. A lot of work went down the drain.
I can’t stick with a character. I started with a Guardian, then made an Engineer, then a Warrior, then a Necromancer. Also a thief and ranger, but I don’t use those.
The problem is, I enjoy all of the classes stated in the first sentence, and have a real “grass is always greener on the other side” mentality. I need help on tackling this, I don’t think I’ll ever get to endgame otherwise.
This problem stems from when I was a kid. Every MMO I’ve played, I wanted to play all the classes. I kept making alts. It gave me some fun instantly, but then the novelty wears off. I know it’s more rewarding to become really strong with one character, but I can’t shake the habit.
