7.5 – 9/10, simple and is visually aesthetically pleasing. I would give just you a 9, but I’m not positive on how to pronounce it because of the umlaut… oops.

The 7.5 is a lower bound based on my least favorite possible pronunciation I could think of (“Vooz”), 9 would be the best (“Vahz”).

My character’s a thief named Dorven Rakthol. I believe it came from the name generator in Knights of the Old Republic, but I changed something, forgot the name, and then changed what I thought I remembered…or something.

New profession or new race.

NO GET YOUR WoW OUT OF MY GW2! Although i would like a class kinda like druids.

Or maybe you could learn that all these classes/professions were created by other people in various forms of games and media long before WoW came along…

That doesn’t mean they have to be in Guild Wars 2. And if they are, there’s no reason to just use the stereotypical version that’s been done to death in other games. ArenaNet is a pretty creative group, we should want them to use their talents, not give us what we’ve played before 100 times.

Didn’t see much else on the scorpion wire bug in search, so thought I’d elaborate since it’s basically useless in it’s current form:

When launching a scorpion wire at a foe, I’ve noticed a few things can happen instead of pulling the foe towards you like the description states. Sometimes the enemy is knocked down, and isn’t moved at all. Sometimes the enemy will be grabbed, but slight changes in terrain will result in the enemy falling off the wire. Finally, there’s been a few times where the skill has had no discernible effect other than causing the foe to aggro in PvE.

I wish I could elaborate more, but the failure is pretty random and I haven’t really been able to tie it to any particular circumstance. It’s a little finicky about the terrain you pull the enemy across, with rocks and bumps causing the failure rate to increase, but there doesn’t seem to be anything causing the odd knockdown effect.

What made you want to play a Sylvari?

I hate the Asura, don’t really like the Charr, and Humans are two generic for me. I thought the Sylvari were pretty cool looking, and really enjoyed their backstory, so I chose them over the Norn. Sylvari are a pretty good mix of cool and unique. Their strangeness doesn’t seemed forced to me, so I can get into the story instead of laughing at it.
