Your story writing is a true talent and all sound lovely. I was wondering though, is your role play more like acting a script instead of spontaneous? I always thought role play events set a theme and then let things develop as they will with perhaps a little steering? Instead of being all written out in advance? I hope you don’t mind me asking as I’m curious and if I don’t ask I don’t learn anything new

There are 2 types of heart. The ones permanently on the map and the heart/shield shape that shows solid orange with a orange ring round it. Anytime those pop up do them too for good xp. Get gathering tools from the merchant if you haven’t already and gather. You’ll be glad of the materials later on and you get xp for each gather too. Do all the skill points, kill all vets and champions, explore every corner of the map including underwater. My first character was level 17 when I completed Queensdale map.

Does anyone have a link to info as to what level a character can access and successfully participate in these? I have a bad memory and too often ask “can I do this or not yet” and then next time I’ve forgotten what I’ve been told. So I’m hoping for a link with the info that I can bookmark and no longer myther folk.

Only one answer I can think of right now. Make your own personal guild and keep the gold in there. Wonder how much of that gold it would take to do that though?

We all got this email with 5 tickets I presume. They say ‘soulbound on aquire’ so I’m assuming as soon as I click the ‘Take All’ button that character is the only one that can use them.

Question is: is there anyway to split them and only take 1 at a time?

I love playing alts so was debating each using one but I don’t know if that’s going to be possible? Ta

I am still a newb although I’ve had GW2 for a few months now. My fault as I’ve been swapping servers looking for a guild to call home. Each time I delete all toons to transfer free. Moving to Underworld would mean deleting again so a complete restart, level 1 again lol. Would you be willing to take this silly bean and help turn me into a competent member? Ta

I want to make an alt specifically for WvWvW. As I’ve barely touched it so far I need to stay range at least while learning the ropes so to speak.

I do love to kill fast like melee does so which of the range classes/weapons is the fastest at killing?

Just found the guild I used to be with in GW is on Sanctum of Rall server, NA. I don’t know if it’s possible to swap across though? Ta

at least a guild where rl females are well represented. So many guilds seem to all male uni types or younger and it’s real hard for a mature female to fit in.

I want somewhere to call home… to make friends… with people happy to group up for any reason.. hearts, events, map clearing etc at low level and eventually fractals, wvw, dungeons etc.

I’m NOT looking for a cooking club or soap discussions (actually don’t watch soaps, although I do love food hehe) … just a stuff a female can relate to as well as male stuff. Decent mix you know?

Which server doesn’t matter as long as it isn’t NA. EU is my area :P . I’m happy to delete and restart for the right guild. If you have a website/forums all the better. Gives me the chance to stay connected when I can’t access the game.

I got achievement first cycle, on overflow, Desolation. Guildies not in overflow didn’t get it.
Tbh, the fireworks I saw looked just like personal ones… nothing to write home about.

Where’s the spectacular event we were lead to believe would happen? I have no reason to go back now. I would have loved to watch more times if was better.

On Ganadara I’d suggest trying The Old Boys. They have a recruit thread there. Plenty of members on around that time and mostly PVE but with organised fractals, dungeons and guild missions etc.

I use trewq for skills and numbers for profs, asd for moving forward+strafes. However while touch typing means these are easy to use as a single tap I am struggling with the double-taps for rolling so something needs to change. Considering using fd for strafe instead but unsure lol. I know how hard it is to get used to change of binding.
Unfortunately I do have a razor naga languishing in it’s box cos I just couldn’t get used to thumbing skills. shakes head@self.

I want to ask peoples opinions on which of the different classes are the easier to play for someone completely new and struggling with character movement while fighting. I’ve had various different opinions so I’d like to see what the general concensus is please.

Ok so I couldn’t resist a quick peep tonight. All you guys are on Very High pop servers. No-one around on the medium pop servers? I’m wondering if joining a high pop will mean que’s for everything? Or so many people around I won’t be able to see what’s going on?

Well I’ve picked race and name. Still undecided on profession. I prefer not to be too squishy but am intrigued by a video that stated Guardians use magic? Will have to investigate further I’m now thinking of waiting til morning before venturing ingame. My OH has competitions all day Saturday & Sunday so I’ll have plenty of time to concentrate undisturbed lol. In other games I’ve made several alts before choosing a main and here I want to get the first one right, to be me! I want to live my character fully.

Oh btw talking age… all I’m saying on a public forum is that I got the key of the door a long long time ago :P I’m definitely female, definitely want EU server.

I’m hoping to find a social/casual guild with UK/EU members and no pressures. I haven’t started playing yet so can choose any server to fit the right guild. (Downloading now).
I play evenings, weekends and often wednesday daytime too. I’m mature but my gaming experience is that of a newb. I will have a lot to learn. Basically I want a guild that feels like ‘home’ and ‘family’.

I’m a UK evening person too. Browsing guilds while downloading to be able to choose the right server lol. Definately mature, female, and totally new to GW2. Do I qualify?

Do you guys take complete newcomers? I’m downloading the game atm. I’m in the UK. All I want is somewhere friendly and active.

I’m totally new, downloading right now, but puzzled why you say any server? How can that work? I have no idea what servers there are atm so haven’t picked yet lol. Will be looking for EU English and hoping for UK players to play with.
