Wow…that was awesome.

So pretty much looking for a late night pst guild (11pm+.) I work 2nd shift and so it can be a little hard to find guilds that active my time of day. I have been playing GW2 quite little lately but am looking for a good community to bring me back into the game.

I primarily enjoy PvE content (lv31 fractals) but am open to coordinated WvW as well.

Hopefully will find a guild that is a little above casual but below hardcore as I can’t quite commit to a hardcore gaming style like I used to. Currently on Yak’s Bend but open to going to any server granted I can get on there. (If you are on one of the full pop servers, hints as to what time to xfer would be great)

I like this idea, im too afraid of throwing away all my junk rings fearing they will be made usable at some point. However its starting to take up space

Yes you can get another chest from another tier. I don’t know about 1-9, but many people at the moment farm 10 and then go do 20. The rings in 20 are infused, which gives them a native +5 agony resist

Mmmm, haven’t bothered doing 1-9 since i’ve been past it, so not sure if its part of the bonus or not.

Its a daily like other dailies for killing the maw. It goes in 10 level brackets.

So you get 1 chest for 10-19, and then you can get another in the same day for 20. I would assume it would follow this pattern and you could get a third in a day if you can complete 30

Keep trying is my only suggestion. I was at your point last night, however only about 10g down (was buying normal bags and reselling the entire time) and finally got mine somewhere between 15,000 and 16,000 bags. You are almost there, RNG shouldn’t beat on you for much longer

Don’t think I saw this mentioned yet…if it has been, my bad. There is no title to this achievement. Nothing, nada, get to 500, end of the road. Also remember….gold → gems. I have pretty much anything I have wanted from the gem store and haven’t spent a dime of my own cash.

No, saw it the other day on my server (Crystal Desert). We had a big talk about how its severely lacking in anything epic besides the rainbows

I can tell you for a fact that i’ve gotten 2-3 gossamer off a single salvage before and I only salvage the whites. Can actually make a small profit on this depending on the price of the item and price of gossamer.

Note to what Kopipoki said above. Just make sure your margin is over 15%, 15% will make you break even.

This is starting to look like a weekittenhing now. Somehow this info gets posted on the weekends, skull prices rocket up. By midweek everyone has forgotten and skulls are back down to 70-80c. Thinking about just stockpiling skulls if this trend continues

Picking up any profits I had made on the TP seems to usually fix this for me. Not sure why but it does, and only when I go on a spree of selling items that sell very fast.

Nice idea and all, but a couple problems. Firstly if you are requiring a tip, its a fee. No way around it. Either you go with “send whatever you would like” and end up happy whether its a gold or 2c, or you just put a flat out fee which is what it sounds like you are doing.

Secondly, there are a multitude of other crafters out there with the same skills, just not on one account that would gladly be willing to craft for just mats.

Third, its probably just as cheap if not cheaper to buy any potential item outright on the TP and save yourself the hassle of having to wait for it to be crafted/having a tip expected of you. If you farmed the mats yourself, sell them, buy item, profit.

Certain crafts will earn you net profit. I’m not going to tell you which ones but what I do recommend you to do is get your excel sheet out and start putting in numbers. ;p

Anyone complaining about making a profit on crafting needs to do this. Its not easy, it takes some research, but it is possible. I really don’t try that hard and am probably coming up on ~10g a week.

Not all crafting is like this. There are some professions where you can make more coin from taking your raw mats and producing them into some items than just selling the mats.

Yeah I do love that with WvW, I think i’ve hit near 12k on some real glass cannons. I still remember watching them kinda peek out above a wall with about 70% hp and a full adren bar and thinking…..bad move

Looking to see how high other people have gotten on normal mobs. I highest i’ve seen so far is 11,098. Also have some nice chains of 3+ 9k hits.

Give up on Rifle, it’s useful for single target fights but most of the time you will be using the AOE damage of the Longbow in PVE. Rifle can definitely be your offweapon though.

Rifle works fine for bigger AOE fights, it just takes a little extra positioning to get right. But its powerful when you can line up a volley or kill shot into 3-4 mobs and watch them all get crit for 9-10k. Crack shot is your friend.

Edewen has a point to be honest. You need to at least carry 1 melee weapon. I would suggest warhorn/anything. At the minimum what i’ve seen is 1 fight in Citadel of Flame where you are going to be useless for half the fight without a melee weapon as the mobs have bubbles that protect them from ranged.

Now granted I love rifle, and I love longbow, but I really think about the only time I would carry both is WvW and even then I don’t like the idea of losing my mobility and escape without a warhorn.
