Guild Wars 2

Hey, it seems like we might be having the same problem… I got mine to start moving again by using the -image command line argument. Just edit the target line of the shortcut to gw2.exe and put -image at the end. It’ll look something like this:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -image

Mine is still downloading but it’s almost finished now after only 2.5GB, and before I’d downloaded over 10GB and the files remaining didn’t drop even once, so it seems like its working. Lemme know if that works, too. I’ve had this problem before and I’ve never seen anyone else having the same issue, until you posted this here. Hope this helps =)

The patch client started downloading fine, but then it stopped with 82,606 files remaining, just before it got to the ‘playable’ mark, and it hasn’t moved since then. I’ve spent over three days downloading over 10GB and the file count has not changed at all, still at 82,606 files. And the time stamp on Gw2.dat says it has not been modified since the file count stopped moving as well.
