Guild Wars 2

The game is still downloading, however it is playable. When I login and try to create a revenant, there is a sign on the icon “Update to guild wars 2 heart of thorns in order to play this class” or sth. like that. I’ve pre-purchased the game and I do not know why I’m getting this. Perhaps I have to wait for the whole game to finish ?

The Belcher’s Bluff name on the achievement panel was missing.

Same, still cannot make a revenant and I haven’t received my extra character slot.

EDIT: Am now able to make revenant, still don’t have character slot.

HoT is still not released. Revenant will be available in 3 minutes.

I am also unable to create a revenant. I checked my account and it shows my pre-purchase is active. I allowed the entire update to download and re-logged in and still nothing

I downloaded the entire expansion, got in to play the game for a few minutes, then it crashed.

When I opened the login screen, I had to completely re-download the entire expansion again…

No character slot still.

I am currently unable to complete the prolugue mission. At the last rally point before the portal to verdant brink (after the escort and talking to all the LS npcs), I approach the green star. At that point the UI hides as if starting with a cut scene but instead the game becomes unresponsive. The standard anet crash UI does not appear

Game crashed about 1 min after HoT started. Now downloading something else again. Guess I’ll try after the download is done..

Also noticed the empty Belcher’s buff in achievement panel as well.

Achievement: Fractal Master (Collection)

Not all weapon skins unlocked (wardrobe) are unlocking the respective collection entries. (i.e. I have mace and torch in bank, and the skins unlocked, but they aren’t ‘collected’ yet) Haven’t restarted client since patch 1hr before release.

Before new path i have 24k achievements points now i have 23,966- where is my 34 achive points?????

Crashed trying to WP, caused me to have to redownload the patch from the beginning again upon restarting the launcher.

Constant crashing and freeze on mac client, jesus! can’t use any druid skill even though i had 196 skill points

I pre-purchased HoT and applied the serial code about 3 min. before midnight and I did not get an extra character slot. =/

Fractal Weapon Collection is not correctly unlocking. All skins are unlocked in the wardrobe. Showing 12/19.

12:16AM, I do not see a Revenant race to create. I purchased it over a month ago. Relogged several times, entered in with a different char, logged out and back in. No joy.

Crashes when the cutscene entering to the meguuma jungle starts up. It might just be because I didn’t finish downloading the last 20% of the patch but will report back.

This is a bug with the new runes.

The Necro trait Blood Bond does not proc when you reach 4 bleeds on a target if 2 of those bleeds came from the Rune of Evasion.

You probably need to check other Runes too and see if they are properly proc’ing traits.

Can’t progress in Story when trying to gather airship supply. Stops progress after we kill the sylvari

A very minor issue: there’s no Revenant option in the Chest of Exotic Equipment we get from daily login rewards.

Several guildies tried to activate the guild buffs before the forced update (but after the notice about a new game version). Each time someone clicked on Activate, they got the bug report window and crashed to desktop. Then, because they crashed, the game updated on next launch, making it impossible to activate those last guild buffs.

As soon as the gw2 Heart of Thrones expansion went live this mission (Pact Assault – Point of No Return Living Story) has bugged out. When you are told to rescue people from the vine pods towards the end of the mission only two of the three are spawned. This was real unfortunate as I was getting my last achievement for the sinister amulet. Now i can’t complete the mission and therefore cant win the reward. This makes me a very sad panda. -_-

It seems I lost roughly 50 Achievement Points with this patch – I had 20,500+ (got the chest a few days ago) and now I have 20,477.

Cannot equip Greatsword as necro. I have unlocked proficiency and equipped the Reaper skill line, but anytime I try to equip a GS it still says “Weapon not usable by your profession”. Do I have to train the line further? Or does it have to be completely downloaded? Game is updated and playable (although still currently downloading some things).

got the same Problem :-( 3 times and it didnt work

All Reaper Shouts appear to be usable as soon as the specialization is unlocked, was able to use “Rise!” and get a shambling horror to spawn even though “Your Soul is Mine!” was the only skill I’ve unlocked so far. Didn’t seem to be the case when I first logged on to my engineer to unlock Scrapper.

im downloading the patch but i just reach the playable phase, if i click on Play the login panel disappear but nothing happens.
I tried to use “lunch as administrator” too with same results. Im at about 50% download but can’t rly enter in character selection.
Any idea?

Exited Heart of the Mists. Character was in Kessex Hills. Game crashed, and I am unable to load back into the game. Waiting 10 minutes to relog in case that’s the issue. Error Message I get after fully updating my launcher is attached.

Every time I try to do this mission, I get to the point shown in the picture where I have to free three pact soldiers, however there are only two pact soldiers to be freed.

Run all up and down the area, checked every corner, fought mordrem for 20+ minutes, nothing continues the mission, stuck at “Pact Soldiers Rescued: 2/3”

If you enter the Borderlands your client crashes \o/ didnt try eb but since i dont see anyone in EB from my friends-/followerslist i guess its broken too.

No acces to elite spec on my 80 in HotM. I even unlocked it in open world but still cannot see it in HotM while tryint to change my old build to switch from one core spec to elite.

EDIT: Actually I cannot access any elite on my old characters. No problem with freshly created revenant tho.

Started training my Druid specialization on my Ranger in Heart of the Mists, didn’t get any of the achievements that normally pop up OR the unique staff thing.

Launcher keep crashing on the 761xx-762xx files remaining during downloads.

Update: My launcher keeps hanging and crashing at different portions of the download.

There are synthezizer gathering nodes in our eb keep, that let you gather every 30s – is this fast refresh rate intended?

I cannot enter the story ‘Torn from the Sky’ and therefore can’t access the new zone(s). I can’t play HoT.

Game froze/crashed when talking to guild hall chappie.
Can’t remember the NPC name. He was in the guild initiative place. I think he was trying to show me a preview of the guild hall or of the area where you claim it. The UI stuff was removed just like it is when you trigger a cut scene and then it just froze. I had to kill GW2 with Windows Task Manager.

No extra character slot. Game was fully patched and the requirements for the extra slot were met.

I was completing the prologue story step and it crashed during the cutscene into Verdant Brink and now I cant make progress on the story step nor can I enter verdant brink

Was able to buy Guild Favor from influence multiple times in the guild initiave head quarters.

Some of my guildies are crashing in the Torn from the Sky instance, at the cutscene after Canach and Taimi’s dialogue. Soon as the cutscene starts, their client freezes and the cutscene never loads.
Edit – both are using the streaming client option and did not finish the full HoT download yet (they’re on slower connections).

I am having extremely low FPS, yesterday I was fine. In the Silver Wastes I got arounf 17, in the first story instance I am now down to 10 FPS. I have not completely downloaded the game, does this have something to do with it? My PC is only using 30% RAM and 40% CPU…

EDIT: fixed by downloading more of the game client.

On the prologue: rally to maguuma, i can no longer progress in the story nor can i restart my progress. The end cutscene bugged out and froze my client. After returning to the game the cutscene continued to freeze the client. After leaving the instance i can no longer return to it nor can i reset the progress to start it over.

as I attempted to start the instance after the prologue.

Game keeps crashing when I try to enter the jungle, I’ve run through the instance 5 times and it happens every time.

I’m glad we don’t have to redo the instance, but we still start at the beginning.

Seems to be a bug with the Adept Reaper achievement. I went about halfway through the elite spec for it but never got the achievement and GS skin. Tested out on my warrior and worked fine. May have had something to do with being inside Heart of the Mists when I was doing it.

The fractal skin collection is bugged, it shows that I only have 3 skins unlocked, 2 of which I do actually have and the other I do not have. I have 18 of 19 fractal skins but it says I only have the Axe, Scepter and Trident. All skins are in the wardrobe and I still have the original skin item of each fractal weapon, see attached image.
