The SoR spin-doctors say that SoR coming in 3rd place at 100K+ out of 1st, and 50K+ out of 2nd was showing up and putting up the good fight, but BG coming in 3rd is not showing up or fighting.

Using SoR spin tactics:

In the recent race to finish in 1st place, SoR was the last to do so.

What took them so long? How can they cope at being last?

I doubt any BG guild runs at seeing 10 TW tags unless greatly outnumbered. I haven’t seen any BG guild run from an even numbered fight ever, no matter whose tag the red team sported.

No BG guild has been “conditioned to lose” by SoR either. If they were reduced to this state, no resistance at all would be given, yet there is fighting going on everyday.

Land in Atlantis isnt’t cheap brother, send all your gold at your earliest convenience.

BG doesn’t know how to endure, JQ is still a solid contender though. My apologies to BG, it seems a lot of your guilds stop showing up, but how you gain guild is not how one makes a strong community. Whilst you guys say you have one, from everyone I talk to on BG your guilds seem very segregated and do their own things for the most part. We’ve never had that issue on SoR for…ages now. Yes we gained guilds, at a slow pace, but we never begged nobody to come, they came on their own accords because they enjoy how we are as a server. We don’t point fingers, even when we were losing we still came out strong everyday during our primetimes. You guys, just decided to disappear completely. I don’t know if its playing dead or not but somethings not right. You guys have the people/guilds to still be contenders in T1 yet you chose to sit and moan instead of going out and playing. SoR has been the underdog until these last few weeks. All we’ve gained is an EU guild that chose to come to us over the other two servers and a decent morale booster. Its up to you guys to motivate your guys to come out, complaining really gets you nothing. Now get out there and kittening play the game.

WOW! Your perception is not even close on the BG community and the way the Guilds there work together. I may be off a bit but I believe BG has been in T1 longer than SoR, or at least close. So how is it you figure BG does not know how to endure??

And I see little of the moaning you speak of from BG. I see more moaning from SoR of “we need better fights”.

BG pugs don’t want to play wvw when they are losing. They see they are going to lose and just give up. If BG doesn’t do better next week I expect the whole server to fall apart. The rest of the casual WvW on BG are doing PVE and cant be bothered to play WvW when they are getting new skins.

The moment BG starts losing all the pugs get demoralized and dont want to play. Same with JQ. BG beats JQ one week and JQ gets demoralized then throws in the towel. I Really feel Unless your servers are winning none of the people who just came to your server to win will log in to play. You guys have a lot of these fair weather players that are only about wining. The moment the server starts losing these people quit or go find another server they can win on.

Sorry but your spin on the BG situation is way off base.

The big problem with BG’s performance this week in WvW is the South Sun event.

The day before the event, BG closed the gap between SoR and BG approximately 10K (from 23K lead to 13K lead). The day after the event, when most of BG was in South Sun, the lead went up to 30+K.

The Pugs and majority of WvW guild players in BG were doing this event. The poster is just wrong in his assertions and name calling.

I am not diminishing SoR’s accomplishment this week, they have earned it. I expect next week things may turn out differently.

I have had this problem for over a month, was hoping the patch would correct the
problem, but it did not.

I hope this gets corrected soon.

I fight alongside MERC often in this timeslot, they are a great group. IRON you will have a good opponent in MERC, among others in BG. Should be a ton of fun fighting in the near future.

About 3 weeks ago SoR was saying they would take first place before BG would, how did that turn out?

Just saying.

Leveling in GW2 is quick compared to other MMO’s imho.

Leveling in WvW may be a bit slower than PVE, but not drastically.

Getting decent end game gear may be far more challenging though. Good end game gear is not a must have, but does make life easier in WvW.

JQ should be a good server to level a toon in WvW as they are routinely #1.

Thieves are OP on the roam, killing yaks, 1v1, etc., but are subpar in zergs.

They can also be almost unkillable in an enemy keep killing all the seige.

I thought SoR had a super mega NA zerg, yet we had out manned buff in a BL last night smack in the middle of prime time. Something does not add up here.

Is the score ever really different? JQ is in the lead, likely going to win again because they’ve got the coverage. SoR is about 4k points ahead of BG and BG is about 4k points behind SoR.

Not much is going to really change, besides the gaps getting bigger and occasionally BG will pull 48 hour shifts.

Ummn, in the last 8 weeeks BG finished 2nd, then finished 1st, finished 3rd a few times, then finished 2nd again. Does not seem the score remains as stagnant as you are trying to suggest.

Could be a bot/gold seller.

BTW camping a JP is bush league.

SoR will slide into 2nd on the leaderboard this week, by a narrow margin. Clearly they are on the upswing. If they keep progressing and BG keeps sliding, yes, SoR will hold the advantage over BG.

The real fight in T1 atm is between BG and SoR for 2/3. The problem is JQ can use its weight to affect the outcome.

Wow dude, calling JQ fat will not bode well for your server (and food stockpile).

Fatness is a known side effect of Bandwagoning.
