FS you had one good day, saturday, would not go as far as to say you domated but yeh you won that day hands down. Was on your borderland tonight, some nice fights for garrison, which we managed to hold all evening. Strange thing is there was not one RUIN player defending, a miracle we managed to hold.
Kodash congratualtions you capped a keep under the noses of RUIN, impressive stuff. Obviously even in prime time when Deso beats you down it has nothing to do with skill. Oh and yeh thanks for handing us the win two weeks ago, obviously our efforts meant nothing.
I hope our next match up provides different opposition who hopefully won’t be inclined to moan about the opposition as much as you guys. gets a bit tiresome after a while.
Please, Deso wasnt beating anybody down during primetime when FS and Kodash still cared. Now we’ve basically called it a day for this week (due to the issues that have been discussed to death in this thread). It’s quite obvious when you’re getting the outmanned buff at 8pm central european time on 3 out of 4 maps.
Also i dont quite get how you Ruin guys can be so proud of your “accomplishments” here. You’re part of a 2000man zerg guild, in most other games you’d be called a horde of zerglings heh. But yeah,i guess thats what Wvw comes down to in the end.

This matchup in a nutshell: The 3 servers are pretty even during (European) primetime with FS probably being slightly ahead but overall the margins are slim. Then during the night Deso gets a guaranteed +695 for multiple hours, essentially securing their victory with a free couple thousand points +upgraded keeps each night.
I’m not blaming the players, i’m blaming ArenaNet for making this bs possible. Have fun in t1 guys.
My first impression: Not impressed at all by Ruin. Weak tactics, mostly inferior players(both gear and skill, or so it seems). Lots of players though.
We kept them at bay rather easily on the map we were assigned to because they never split their zerg or employ any kind of advanced raid tactics whatsoever. Even though we were outmanned we wiped their zerg several times. We even raided their middle keep with 4 people (+some for the lord once doors were open) and they didnt even notice until it was too late.
After most of us (germans) went to bed they started taking over the entire map though. Same with FS, they barely have anybody online right now (it’s 5am in central Europe). I expect this to get even worse once the weekend is over.
I fail to see the point, why would any massive US guild do this to themselves……
…our weapon choices just dont cut it. Let me give you a quick overview:
Staff: This belongs in any power build, yet the auto attack is just sloooow and hardly hits anything that moves. You can actually outrun the projectile making this a laughable source of dps. The marks are OK but once they’re on cd staff becomes a joke.
Axe: It used to be good in bwe1 or so, but now it neither has good range nor good damage. Its only burst skill is channeled and easily gets interrupted by simply dodging(or other skills) leaving you with sub par overall damage (compared to other professions’s ranged weapons).
Dagger: This actually does good damage but you’re stuck with the 130 range on the auto attack. The only burst skill is once again channeled and thus easily negated by any decent player leaving you with a melee weapon that does comparable damage to other professions melee minus the burst ability (100b,eviscerate, pistol whip, you name it). You wanna be a poor man’s warrior? Go for dagger.
And that’s it folks. Right now i feel forced to play as a conditionmaster, everything else is just meh.
@Babanovac: Dzagonur was EXACTLY like that a few weeks ago.
Dzagonur was just like FoW and RoS before some WvW guilds transferred. I can tell you its not that much fun for the dominating side either because it’s hard to find enemies and once you do chances are they’ll get steamrolled by other players anyway.
The WvW system is just broken right now.
