Thanks alot for answer. Is it required to have crafting skills maxed for legendaries, I vaguely recall that signets or something are crafted for them or can these be bought as well?

I am a new player in GW2 and I’m wondering how useful crafting really is?

As far as I’ve understood now is that they are really expensive and that it seems really doubtful that you’ll ever be able to buy mats and using those to craft something to sell for more.

I’ve got the impression that it would be more profitable to simply sell all ore and everything that you find throughout your leveling experience?

Or have I misunderstood something? Are there really, really good weapons or something that are bound on aquire or something?
