Anyone know what the point of the whole climbing the tower thing is? I’ve gotten up pretty high before falling but it’s not a skill point or area discovery.. is there anything up there?

nevermind, I did exactly what Tim said and just have to reconfig my hotkeys and whatnot, but it worked like a charm. Thanks so much!

Now I’ve logged in and got the same blank screen with changing cursor. Anyone tried Tim’s way yet? I’m wary of deleting things without knowing for sure it’ll work…

I just sat and waited it out for about 10-15 min and it restarted itself and updated.

I can’t even get to the login screen. Just a blank window saying 100% but it’s a white bar and nothing’s loaded except the GW2 logo and art.

Okay, I’ll restart it again and watch the clock and cross my fingers, thanks.

I was playing great for a few hours, my first time in the game, and then the update kicked everyone out and now I can’t even log in.

Same here, I spent three days getting all the files to install the game, then played for a couple of hours and now I can’t even get to the login screen after that patch kicked everyone out.
