This build is pretty dang good. Been testing, I can report very good things. This is not with the meta, most people are running 30/30/10/0/0 or something similar to that. It uses Staff as main hand weapon, with scepter/dagger off hand. These weapons are the best weapons in my opinion to use with condition build as a necromancer.
Traits are:
30 in Curses: picking up VI (Wells use ground targeting), VII (Corruption skills recharge 20% faster, there’s not much to pick up in the master tier), XI (Conditions inflicted by scepter skills last 33% longer).
now here is where the build varies from a lot of other builds.
20 in Death Magic: picking up II (Increases are of marks and marks become unblock able), V (Staff skills recharge 20% faster).
20 in Soul Reaping: picking up III (All death shroud skills recharge 15% faster), X (Marks generate 3% life force when triggered.).
For the Armor go full carrion. For this build Rabid is not as good, others may disagree but I feel carrion is better. 5/6 runes of the Undead, 1/6 runes of the Necromancer. For SPvP get Carrion Jewel, you can experiment with putting a rabid jewel inside of the carrion amulet. And for wvw you can try putting in some rabid jewels too.
For sigils: Put sigil of Superior Battle on the staff! The might stacks are very good. With the AoE of staff its almost pointless to put Superior sigil of Earth on this. Just trust me.
Put sigil of Superior Geomancy on Scepter, do NOT put Superior sigil of Earth on it, it will mess up Superior sigil of Battle on the staff if you do.
Put sigil of Superior Debility on your dagger.
For utility:
Heal should always be Consume Conditions on necromancer imo.
Well of Corruption needs to be taken, it can literally insta gib ele and guards.
Signet of Spite next, this can be changed but personally i feel this is very, very powerful for any condition build on necromancer. Plus the power is nice.
Blood is Power is taken next, it gives you so much might, and with sup sigil of battle the might is insane.
This build is very fun, go experiment with it. It takes practice to get good at it. Try making openings that seem good and go experiment! ive found opening with blood is power is super useful, then laying down scepter #2 and dagger #5 then #4 and then scepter #3 is super good, then switch to staff for extra might. Just keep making combos up!
