If I remember correctly ArenaNet didn’t want to have no trinity at all, but didn’t want to have it FIXED.
Like
“You can play an ELEMENTALIST and any other class in the way you want it”
and NOT
“Every class can do anything at the SAME time”

But ArenaNet seemingly only killed the tactical aspect of teamwork. That’s why I quit.
I came back a few minutes ago to check the state of the game and I like the changes they did to the Mesmer, so yeah, I am trying it out again.

And just one question people, as I read only
“NO I HATE TRINITY, IT SUCKS” and “YES I LOVE TRINITY, I WANT IT!”…
Are you against the Trinity because you think that you will be “pressed” into a role that you can’t really change anymore?
Because I think that ArenaNet would simply have to give us more options to individualize.

Everyone does everything at the same time, which shouldn’t be in the game like it is right now. You should be able to be a true “tank”, “damage dealer” or “healer” if you want to. Because a player that WANTS to be healing his allies should be able to do so (with any class!), but right now, he can’t.
No player or class can really “specialize” right now, only add some effects here and there. And that is the main issue.
Because, people, something like the Trinity is not bad at all, just stop imagining everything in either “COMPLETE FREEDOM” or “FORCING TRINITY”, because everything can be tweaked here and there.

And of course, enemies and bosses lack depth. But that is another story.

Yes, I hope so…. but the flood of new topics here is enormous, I guess they won’t be able to read even a tiny bit of it. :/

This bug here is extremely annoying (at least for me), because I think I’m gonna play a glamour mesmer.

Ah, another thing I noticed: There is a trait which blinds enemies when they enter a glamour skill area. Does reaction + blind work together? I mean, when people shoot through the bubble of reaction, they get shot and miss of course. But are they gonna get any damage when they try to shoot through reaction when blinded? :/

the mesmer major trait which should let glamour skills last longer (“longer”..yes) doesn’t work. I don’t know the name, because I play it in German, but it should be something like “Temporal…” whatever. It is in the Inspiration trait line. It just doesn’t work, tried it with both Reaction and Portal.

It is the Inspiration Major Trait IX, if they have the same numbers in different languages. (2nd major trait in inspiration in my picture)

That is the reason our guild transferred to an almost empty server. Right now, we can almost join WvW whenever we want, but a sideeffect is that we’re always losing.. :P

Before: I don’t know if this is a BUG or supposed to be like that, an answer would be fine, as the NCsoft support just gave me information that had NOTHING to do with my request.

When my guild and I transferred servers from Kodash[German Server] to Dzagonur[German Server], all our influence points and our guild achievements (politics etc.) were gone. We had to start all over, so 3 foliants for guild influence were lost, which we paid for. It is fine if it is supposed to be, because 3k influence is not THAT much, but I would like to know.
