That’s what i figured too.
No matter what i say, there really is no reasoning with him.
He has a conspiracy theory on why the auction is taking money from him and saying that the price for him to list ectos is more than everybody else and how it takes the listing fee twice. When i was on vent with him when i bought and sold multiple ectos and did the math. Still to no avail though. Even explained the listing fee and the tax cut taken from it aswell as the wiki post for that and diminishing returns.

For some reason he doesnt think the DR points reset everyday like dailies do and that it stick with whatever character he is playing. As of now, he isnt playing on one character in hoping it will bring back his drops when he hops back on it.

Someone in my guild kept on saying he was on a dimishing returns list since he feels that he isnt getting “good drops” as much as he should since he has all this magic find. He thinks Anet is after him and says they labeled him as a “high profile” person since he had a lot of ectos and various other expensive items.

So my question is, is this some sort of rubbish excuse so he can make himself feel better about not getting what he wants? Or is this a legit occurrence happening to other players?

It is confirmed that my game crashes upon completion and leaving the instance.

When I Completed Forging the Pact, i went to leave the instance when my game crashed. After a few log in attempts i was able to get it but was immediately greeted with the error shown in the picture below when i try to start a game with any of my characters.

The issue seems to be fixed as i write this, and i am going to run the quest again to see if i can recreate the issue. I thought me leaving the instance too quickly caused my game to crash, but the other 2 people in my party experienced the same thing.

Has this happened to anyone else in the same or similar situation?
