Hi Guys,
The Doppler Effect (TDE) is an Australian guild with roughly 75% of its members located in Australia.
We have over 200 members with an average of 30-35 online during our busy period (6pm to 1am Sydney time).
Our guild originally started as a PvE guild but we have recently started having a go in WvW for a bit of fun.
We are located on the Ehmry Bay server.
If you are from another server you are welcome to join before you move if you wish to get a feel for what we are like.
We have no minimum attendance requirements and members are free to choose their own mix of PvE and WvW activities.
We have a mature, friendly and supportive environment within our guild with an emphasis on teamwork.
We have a Teamspeak 3 server, Facebook page and a private section on the www.ehmry.com forum.

We have also been holding some guild competitions lately with gem rewards.
Last week we gave gem rewards for the first 3 people to finish the guild rush.

Tonight we completed a screenshot competition incorporating our guild emblem to celebrate TDE’s ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY w00t!

We’ve been hitting the guild treks recently and have just started unlocking guild rushes!

That is exactly how i would describe my guild, Dungeons, pve and a little bit of WvW.
We are an Australian/Oceanic guild with both leaders based in Sydney and all our events worked off Sydney time.

Only catch is we are on Ehmry Bay, but if you would consider a server move we would be happy to have you!

We have TS3 and a few of us hang out on there most nights.

We have over 200 members with around 70% of them living in Australia (myself included).

Yeah i think the problem there would be the different servers.

Also a guild merge might seem like a good idea to begin with, but while you can merge members you can never really merge leadership. You would not have a merged guild, you would have 2 guilds mashed together with 2 different reporting structures and differing allegiances.
This eventually results in the guild fracturing and breaking up, likely putting a downer on the game for all involved.

Your choice of server will ultimately depend on how much importance you place on WvW. If you mainly enjoy PvE and only want to play WvW recreationally, then you are better off going to a server which has a lower WvW ranking. If you are a hardcore WvW’er you are better off going to a server with a higher ranking.

I am in Sydney and roughly 60-70% of our members are aussies with the rest being scattered around the pacific region.

The Doppler Effect is an Oceanic guild based in Australia and we mostly focus on dungeons and other PvE activities. We currenlty have over 170 members and we are growing all the time.

Our guild cracked 170 members this week.
Lately we have had so many members joining in on Shatterer/Jourmag/Tequatl fights that we often make up the majority of participants! lol

Hey there, my guild is not on your server but if you are open to a server transfer i have an Aussie guild on Ehmry Bay.
Server transfers are still free atm.
Our guild is quite laid back and we focus mainly on helping each other out with quests, partaking in the 3 dragon fights and running dungeons.
At peak times we have between 20-30 members online and in off peak around 10 or so.

We now have a Ventrilo server too!

My guild is called The Doppler Effect and it is based in Ehmry Bay.

Our guild is casual and supportive with a good mix of experienced and novice players.
Some players occasionally play in PvP, but Ehmry bay is not a big PvP server, our main focus is Dungeons.

We do not screen members based on their location, but i do make sure new members from the USA are aware that we play to a different time zone. Our guild is made up of roughly 85% players from the Oceanic Region. The rest is people from the USA who play late.
