I dont know if scaling alone wont do the thing – and seeing your screenshot your server is is event poorer than mine (dzagonur).
outdated events like karka queen, orr temples or sometimes even getting a group for any ini is not easy on lower servers. and no guesting cant be the answer…
gw2 slowly turns into any random mmo.
2 Days after a patch and new content isn’t farmable???? Better nerf it to hell!!! The game suffers from people like you, I hope they redo all the dragons to have similiar difficulties if not harder.
You arenanet apologists are so annoying. Did the OP say anything about farming? No s/he didn’t. Has sab world 2 had issues that even the dev mentioned? Yes it has. Does the OP find the new taquito fight fun? No s/he doesn’t.
The OP has valid complaints about the content and has every right to air them without some anet wannabe lackey posting superfluous claptrap to try and derail things.
Thats exactly what i try to say too. Many players like it harder. no one wants to farm the boss. Couldnt do that anyway. but there is a RARE chance for a good loot.
put that to the 0,5% chance to kill him. only large zergs – well organized can do this – with only a few leechers. so most of the servers/players wont be able to even see any chest from teq. i am not talking about brainkitten ssfarming. but events should scale accordingly to the players – wich seem not the case.
what you need to do is guest to these high populated servers like blackgate so none of the actual native T1 server residents can get in.
then you’ll have a gigantic server crying because they’re all stuck in overflow.
Even if i wanted to guest – i cant either because its full or because europe cant guest – dunno. i dont event want to guest. 50+ ppl on dzagonur should be enough.
if all the new events are like this gw2 is nothing more than wow or any other EQ/elite players mmo. i chose gw2 because casual 2-4 hours a day players can achieve almost everything too. but if new events tend to have this difficulty level – then its not my game anymore. hey – i am talking not about one hit nobrainer bosses. but tequatl on dzagonur ? – he will be deserted like south sun cove.
first of all – i like new content – and i like difficulty raised in general.
since karka queen where i first experienced mass-zergs on our low server dzagonur(german) there has been a significant increase in difficulty for events.
most of the players on low populated servers wont be able to beat the new bosses – because there arent just enough organized players – wich would also require 3rd party programs like teamspeak.
lets assume we beat tequatl one time – or twice – well – then the area will be deserted like southsun cove or the orr temples . yes orr temples are as deserted on small servers… dont know what i am talking about ? – visit this areas…
anet has to make some difficulty adjustments for lower servers/player masses as well – else the new content ist nothing more than frustrating new stuff – wich can be done only from a few players on high populated servers.
So you are happy having finally collected 250 scraps by either farming or shopping and head of to the npc retrieving your desired skin…
But ouch ! – You click retreive on the wrong skin !
Now you can say its your fault – be more careful next time. I wouldnt care either if its easy to achieve – but in that case its just a fun killer.
Please A-Net let us retrade the wrong chosen skin at the npc-shop for another skin.
It should be fairly easy to implement.
