Again I’m coming from 7 years of hardcore World of Warcraft so I’m not new to MMO.
But the thing I hate about this game is in dungeons there is no way to control mobs. There is no taunting no way to build aggro because there is no real tanking… That’s a horrible idea… Dungeon runs are a mess, kiting shouldn’t be the solution and it takes the fun out of dungeon runs.
Can someone please explain how the mich duration runes work. I have it stacked and my buffs still stay same length and the cooldown stays the same as well.
Welcome to MMO forums.
The people loving the game are too busy playing to post threads stating how much they enjoy it.
The people unhappy about something come here.
Obviously, this isn’t 100% accurate, but certainly people are far more likely to come here with negative feedback than positive.
Lol you’re right… Unless you’re at work and forgot to bring your laptop so you can play.
I don’t understand why people are so negative about this game. People it’s a MMO that you don’t pay monthly fees for, be happy with that. The economy is horrible all over the world right now and Anet is giving you a more than capable MMO with no fees.
I can’t see how anyone can think there is nothing to do at 80… unless they have 100% map completion and killed everything. And if you have all that already then it’s your own fault for rushing through the game so fast. I’ve paid over $1500 in fees for my years of service to Blizzard and I’m not about to do that again. So relax people the bugs will get fixed and content will be added but there will be more bugs and the need for more content. No game is perfect.
I really like this game but my main worry is staying power, not for me but other people. It doesn’t take much to turn people away, epically if you only have a few hours to play and it takes an hour to find a group. However, I know this game is not all about dungeon runs and I’m trying to get used to that but 7 years of WoW is a hard habit to break. I respect Anet stance on not wanting certain things in the game but they too need to worry about keeping the game fun and staying power. They should learn from the mistakes Blizzard made in the early years of wow and try not repeating them in GW2.
There really needs to be something in place to que up for a Dungeon rather than spamming /map for people. The game is only 3 weeks old and if people are finding it hard to get groups for a simple Dungeon run can you imagine how hard it will be 6 months from now. As massive as World of Warcraft is they even ran into this problem and created the system.
We cannot inspect other people right? Or not yet?
Awesome thanks
I’ve been a hardcore wow player for 6 years but I quit because of the direction they are going and the game just feel stale. I have a question about GW2… Im a level 22 ranger so far but is it me or is that this game isn’t focused on flashing our gear. For one, you cannot inspec people so see their gear and stats.. Or maybe I don’t know how and 2 most of the gear looks the same. Like a level 1 greatsword looks the same as an 80 greatsword.
So, when doing instance runs, does unique items drop from bosses and trash that you cannot find in AH or crafted?
