Oh okay. Great. Thanks for the help man! I’ll check out the high ranking servers.
So the WvW leaderboard rankings reflects the server population? I suppose that might make sense considering more players means more likelihood of winning. But doesn’t seem like that would necessarily directly translate.
Well, subject says it all. I’m on Darkhaven and it seems pretty empty. I tried guesting but that has a 24 hour lock and that server seemed pretty empty too (forget the name). I know you can sort the server list by population but that doesn’t seem to be very accurate considering the server I was guesting on didn’t have anybody around. I realize off peak hours will be slow, but I hope there’s at least some servers where you can find some people running around in various zones throughout the day.
So TLDR what’s the busiest server that isn’t already full?
Water buckets still not working. Did the Moriarity’s hold quest in Bloodtide Coast, buckets not doing a thing. This is clearly a problem in the game itself not anything to do with your client. Any suggestions for repairing your install are flat at wrong and are akin to the “unplug your computer and plug it back in” tech support scenarios. Obviously not the problem. Some people are able to do it, but it’s still a bug in the game of some kind affecting only certain players.
The pop up surveys weren’t very detailed though. In order to gain any useful information they would need to be more in depth rather than just saying stuff like “Did you think this was fun?” and rating 1 to 5. I want to explain why I felt a certain why, not just rate it. Though the pop up surveys would give them at least some basic info on whether people liked something or not. But they need to know why they liked it, or didn’t like it.
Well problem about end game is that no matter what they add to keep people busy, there will always be people who burn through it then say there’s nothing else to do. They can only add so much content at a time. So far it looks like they are serious about adding stuff to do each month.
That’s what I figured, was just wanting to make sure before I spent gems on a particular character.
Isn’t tabbing the “target nearest enemy” key? I have that mapped to a mouse button. It’s not a horrible way to target. If you need to select someone specific then just click on them otherwise I just target nearest enemy. It’s fast and it works. However, I’m not sure about your WvW situation, I’m just speaking in general.
If I buy another inventory slot on my character, does it apply to only that character or my entire account?
It sounds to me like you’re more upset about people joining your group with magic find gear than the actual magic find gear itself. If it bothers you that much run with guildmates who will use gear to your satisfaction. I can’t imagine the gear discrepancy being as bad as WoW where someone is crippled if they are running around with bad gear.
I’m sure this has been posted a billion times, but I’m posting anyway :P
Pretty annoying when I have to type in my pet’s name over again each time I change them up. That is all and have a good day.
I’m 48, almost 49, and I have 40 silver to my name. I could have more, but I bought some things here and there. Traded some gold for gems to try and unlock another inventory slot. Honestly, I’m fine with my slow progress in money. I think it would be ridiculous if it was easy to rack up a lot of gold (maybe it is at high levels anyway, I don’t know).
As for my gear, I manage to do just fine by spending Karma points and running instances. It’s not really that hard to have level appropriate gear.
what condition removal? im a ranger they dont have any.
The fact that you aren’t aware that they do makes me inclined to ignore your complaints about rangers.
I disagree on thieves. I’m glad I have a game where I don’t have to rely on sneaking around.
I’m sure this has been brought up before, but I was creating a human male character and there wasn’t any option to make me look aged or grizzled. All the faces pretty much appear to be in their 20’s and rather effeminate on top of that. I can easily create aged, grizzled, and war hardened Norn characters. It’s a little disappointing I don’t have that option for a human.
Here’s the thing about hard core players; they will always speed through a game and burn out from lack of content, no matter how much the developer adds. That’s not to say that they won’t have any valid concerns or criticisms, but it happens with every single MMO ever released. I don’t think I’ve seen a game yet that didn’t have people on forums complaining of lack of end game.
I’m at the point in my personal story where I have to choose, but I’m not exactly sure what all the differences are, as far as things that actually affect my character and not just story. I saw the different armor sets for the different orders, is there anything beyond the look of the armor I should take into account? I’m a Ranger (don’t think that matters, but who knows).
Basically, I want to avoid a situation of joining an order then saying “Oh man, I should have picked that one instead!” I don’t know if there are different items/weapons/armors that I need to take into account, or what have you.
Thanks, that’s what I thought. For some reason it didn’t occur to me to check this by swapping and looking at my stats… lol
You can have two sets of weapons, but do you keep the bonuses from everything, or only the current weapon set you have equipped? I assume only the current set equipped, but wasn’t sure since you have both sets equipped on your equipment screen.
