Guild Wars 2

Compared to the hard core players that you see with full ascended, a legendary backpack, and a whole backpack full of legendary weapons, I have limited time and game knowledge. Really committing to making a legendary weapon has never really been all that feasible even though ive been slowly gathering the pieces. About two years ago at this point I crafted volcanus, the greatsword that looks the same as the ele firey gs skill, and I have always looked back on that experience as one of the most enjoyable times ive had when playing gw2.

Working towards a unique semi-prestigious weapon with a cool model and effects that make it noticeable and stand out is extremely fun, but there don’t seem to be too many of these opportunities and very few of them are located in between the easy ones and the huge feats that legendary weapons are. Volcanus seemed to be a good medium between the two that had a good and worth while reward at the end of the track, and the process of making it required enough of you for it to feel rewarding to have done it.

In short, I think there should be more weapons, armor, and back pieces that look cool enough and are exciting enough to be a proper reward worth perusing, and requires a significant amount of effort and commitment but not nearly as much as creating a legendary weapon does. What do you think? Also what do you look back on as your favorite parts of playing gw2?

So as a warrior no matter what build I was using I always felt outclassed in one way or another, I tried tons of different builds and weapons, some of which were good, but none really were that consistently successful. And recently I put together my own build that ive found is versatile enough to be successful in lots of different scenarios without sacrificing damage and mobility.

The build uses sword shield/ rifle, which is a combination rarely seen, at least at my level. Personally I think both weapon sets are under rated. sword has mobility and a finisher, shield offers crown control and defense, then the rifle offers good ranged damage, some cc and a big finisher.

Trait wise, it is 0,4,6,2,2 with the key traits being

Tactics 2 leg specialist: immobilize the enemy when you apply a cripple
(sword basic attack chain 3, sword 2, and rifle 2 all have cripples so you get tons of cc and fury)

Arms 9 opportunist: gain fury when you immobilize a foe

Discipline 3 warriors sprint: 25% extra movement speed with a melee weapon
(the mobility is great, this is a pretty standard trait)

I then pick up defensive traits to keep me from getting locked down and bursted

Specifically I take;

Then theres zerker amulet, eagle runes, and battle and accuracy sigils

But the gist of the builld is you can lock down and damage enemies fairly well with your sword, only using final thrust when they are below half health (huge damage when below 50), then if they get away from you, you can imobalize, make vulnerable and dish out lots of damage quickly with the rifle 3 skill. If you find yourself in the rare situation where you can knock someone off a cliff you have the 5 skill for that. And lastly, sword shield offers a really good escape maneuver provided you have your skills ready if you 4 stun them, then untarget and jump away with your two.

I am very curious to see how other warriors do with this build so post back here after wards or just your general thoughts after reading this. It is my go to build now

Its got anet and nc soft logos all over the box, so yes, even though its not quite rytlock

So a while ago I saw on bog otter’s channel he got a shatterer statue in the mail. It was really cool and in the video he mentioned that there were other statues that were just released like the one he just got. I wanted to check them out because I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan and I thought a collectors statue would be a cool thing to have.

So anyway, there are plenty of videos and pictures of the old collectors edition rytlock statue, but none of this new one. I wanted to do some research and see it online before buying it. Once again, there really were none but I ended up buying it anyway. Was pleased with it when it arived, it had a good look, good construction/quality, and had the ability to change out parts, so I wanted to put some pictures up for people who are curious about it, if you were interested in buying it ,or just for general enjoyment, here you go.

Sorry if some are sideways, took the pictures with my phone. And one of the pictures has a pen in it for size reference, it is about 9 inches tall, a similar size to the collectors edition rytlock statue.
