Guild Wars 2

I just tried out a spec using a 2H sword, and switching out with a sword and board. I also moved my traits into 20 Valor / 25 Honor / 25 Virtue, for retaliation bonus.

I used it last night and seems to work pretty sweet, unless you guys have another suggestion.

So if I play Guardian as my main and PVP should I expect my role to be mainly support?

What if I wanted to play less support and more offensively?

It seems that I get pwnt when I play more offensively.

Ah ok, so 2 last questions than..

So all pvp is on a level playing field and based on skill rather than (wow reference) having someone in decked out arena gear dominating the casual pvper?

If you do not care about cosmetics what would you spend your glory points on?

Whats your build & strats for guardian in wvw?

I got pwnt in a 2v2 the other day with my mate and just want to bring my game up.

I guess it was a bit noobish as I only used the 2H sword, and was trying to crank out damage.

Hey guys, just wanted to see if someone had a guide or could just clue me up on how the gear works for PVP.

I gather glory points from sPVP or wvw, and I see a bunch of glory vendors that sell armor, weapons and special chests etc etc.

We all start at level 80 with max armor, the only point I could see to purchasing the armor is to try out a different weapon that the one that is provided.

All the stats are the same, so what is the goal of purchasing all the armor? What is best to spend glory points on?

If you have a link that explains it or can just post back about it would be appreciated, thanks alot
