Good post Snort.

As a GH player I run with guilds and also go solo depending on what zones have low queues or need some assistance.

At this stage I have seen most of the leadership that goes on from members of every alliance, and it is all good.

It is vitally important that inter-alliance relationships are strong on Gunnar’s Hold. We need to rebuild any broken inter-alliance relationships now and re-unite as one server.

We are already a strong server IMO and good relationships and communications between alliances are essential if we are to improve.

Last night I spent almost an hour queuing for Desolation borderlands when I decided to queue for Augury Rock and it was only 5 minutes. With inter-alliance communications, we could spread our players out a little better. We need to start doing this ASAP.

Great match up. Well played Blacktide and Gandara.

Thanks to all leaders on Gunnar’s Hold in all borderlands.
I switched borderlands regularly and there was always good leadership and communications most of the day.

Queues for WvW: The Official Thread

The number 1 issue right now for the dev team should be to fix the WvW queues.

This is what we need:

1. Fix the buggy queues so that people do not lose their place (due to unknown reasons)
2. Introduce an estimated queue length for each borderland so players can see which one would be quicker to join
3. Show the user’s current position in the queue

Get it done and you have resolved the biggest blocking issue in the game right now.

People don’t mind queuing once they know the queue is working right and they have an idea how long it will take.

I can’t believe this was not right from launch.
