Congrats Jade Quarry for 3 straight years as top 3 (tier 1)ranked NA server.

I’d like to thank my fellow JQers for making JQ longtime successful server.

I’m not going to go and thank specific commanders who helped along the way. There’s been so many that have come and gone, or are still around, to name only a few of them would be hard.

Good luck in the future JQ, and thank you.

Just to be clear, JQ, as have other top servers, have been randomly dropped into match-ups with lower ranked teams from time to time. My statistics is based on the fact Jade Quarry never dropped below 3rd on Anet’s ranking system.

I’m sourcing Millenium’s statistics. I’ve also been active and part of JQ since beta, I’m equally sure they’re accurate.

I noticed a rise in phishing scams too. Such as the "your account will be suspended, unless you come to our “OFFICIAL” looking site. and give your account info and beg for forgiveness."

Its sad when right underneath it says. This message is not from Arena.net.

With Majesty’s Rest tower and the Rotscale + Bone Dragons being a major event in GW1, will it make it’s return when Maguuma Wastes and Modremoth make their debut in season 2?

JQ probably got the easy draw due to them being ranked #1st heading into the season.

Same premise goes for when Duke gets Northeast Wyoming state at Spelunkerville* for the first week at march madness.

I gotta give these guys a shout out. I’ve been on Jade Quarry Team Speak with these guys a lot in the past few months. These guys are organized and efficient as hell. They enjoy joking around in between fights.

Definitely check these guys out if your looking for high paced tier 1 action.

I have been considering them as a destination for myself.

I have to apologize to a couple members of the AFS guild on SOR. Somehow during one of the 3-way fights lag sessions on BG BL Garrison. I was lagging at Greenwater village then started time warping and my guardian staff just went nuts and mowed you guys down. My rate of Fire went nuts and it went full machinegun mode on the staff #1 skill. I honestly didn’t realize that it was doing that til after you guys dropped dead. I thought it was part of the skill lag. If i knew i was glitched like that i would have backed out.

so yeah sorry about that.

One thing about WvW it seems like the same teams play each other week after week. Now, I’m all for rivalries and stuff. But it’s getting rather monotonous to play against the same team 5 weeks in a row.

Why not expand the tiers and have a two week schedule. It would give the WvW more of a tournament style feel instead of a more boring “climb the ladder” approach we have now.

Lets say the top and second tier are 9 teams each. In the first week, the schedule is random selection of all teams and map locations in their chosen tier.

The second week all the “1st” place teams fight for a two week title. In the second tier, the top two teams of the “1st” place group would be promoted to tier 1.

The “2nd” place teams fight with the 3rd place team in that matchup being relegated. In the second tier, the winner of the “2nd” group match would be promoted.

The “3rd” place teams would fight for the right to avoid relegation, having the winner stay in the tier and the bottom 2 teams being dropped a tier.

The 3rd tier in the EU would be 9 teams and could have a similar setup minus the relegation.

The 3rd tier in the US could be more complex with only 6 teams. But you could split the two 2nd place teams by scoring and have that top scoring 2nd place team join the 1st place teams in a battle for 2 promotion spots; and you can have the lower scoring 2nd place team join the 3rd place teams for the one promotion slot.

It may look complicated at first. but once you wrap you head around it, I think you’ll see that it does make sense and would add spice to the WvW matches.

I don’t know why BlackGate is angry. They deserve their fate.

I still remember early this week being with a JQ zerg group that was trying to take down KLovans after sacking Golanta for supplies. The rest of the area seemed all green(SBI) so we did expect a counterattack from SB. But already had the wall at 2% and were hoping to finish off the attack. Suddenly we get the expected attack….. from BG. A big BG zerg comes strolling along out of nowhere to push us back and destroy our catas. They ended up getting what they deserved when SB, the counterattack we were expecting, comes along and sandwiches BG, then pushes JQ off of Klovens.

In chat we were like “WTF is BG doing?!”

Instead of pushing the far side while SB was occupied with us. They do something stupid and try and ninja us instead. They completely fail and leave SB with their already upgraded Tower that they quickly repaired.

This is why BG is third right now.
