I am running a Intel i7 3630QM 2.40GHz, And a Nvidya Geforce GTX 675MX

I used to get 30+ FPS on high settings in lions arch but after I updated my drivers I can’t even break 9+ FPS in lions unless I throw everything on the lowest setting.

I don’t understand why after installing a update to my drivers that I can’t play my game on the settings I had before the update.

I would’\ just download the old drivers again but I don’t remember what they were because they were pretty old and I needed to update them for my other games.

Anyone else having these problems?

The launch went very well core wise. I mean I could make my character and experience the game with not to many problems. I did spend a good amount of my time in the Bug report page.

All in all? Great launch considering what could have happened. i don’t think I have seen a launch as smooth as this for awhile.

Well this is the guy who spent 2 weeks finding all the gear he wanted to transmute in wow instead of grinding the next big raid.

I don’t remember a WoW charecter with the name…..oh wait…..there were some in one of those BC dungens huh….I tottaly forgot that…oh well

I have been contemplating a new Asura and I have a theme but I am having trouble deciding a name.

The theme is a Elementalist Asura who is….not really obsessed but really interested in space.

He/she thinks that not only does his/her power draw from the world but also from the starts/space

Like Fire Attunement draws from the fire of the world but also the sun/stars
Water is from the Moon and it power over currents and the cold void of space
Lighting is the energy that flows through all things
Earth for the foundation of creation.

I have a couple of names in mind but I want it to stand out like (Asura) the astromagus. or (Asura) the Astromancer.

Ideas? thoughs? or am I just as crazy as the idea

Example. Static, Priory, Oor

Static. You form a crew and come up with a new invention but the Inquest want it and you gain a arch enemy

Priory. A new discovery of some sort, Your the head leading the troops but problems arise and you uncover something that is evil/the Dredge want/conflicts with another order.

Oor. With Salad dude finishing his wild hunt. It’s up to you and the Pact to clean up the mess and finish off the rest of the undead and Dragons

Ooh, this I like.
Though it doesn’t quite work with Blood Legion since that involves crushing your old warband leader, which in this case would be you.
Or with Synergetics since your krewe leader was the traitor.
Or Norn because they’re all solitary kittens which will ultimately be their undoing.

There can be some tweaks. like Synergetics can try to invent something new under your watch and try to clean there name from the traitor who sold out to the Inquest.

I haven’t played much much about charr story but from what I remember your don’t really recruit many people to the warband after the beginning.

Norn maybe you go on some spiritual journey to better understand your animal you were birthed under.

I have to admit I am a lore freak. And because I never played the first GW (I wish I did but I got caught up in he WoW craze) it really answers some questions and brings somethings to light.

I remember that like 10 alpha siege golum rush on FA’s keep. Good times….

I came up some words for list 1.

Bi-polerized, metachemical, ethreal,

some for list 2

battery, conductor, golem, bank(like to store data,chemical ect), Transfuser.

If I come up with more I will add them

I am a crazy engi. I built myself around defense and snares.

I run in and try to get people to come to me like warriors or guardians and then I just throw down and overpower net turret and net shot + toolbelt net shot and just let my team have at them while they can’t move.

Other then that I am just a rifle engi who targets the squichies and like to jug all my potions and quickness. it’s actually quite effective since people seem to not know that there being hit until around half hp.

Am I the only Engineer who doesn’t use there kit’s but only in special situations and by special I mean when you are just board or like once in a blue moon opportunity?

I tried to find ways to use kit’s in my builds but it just does not work out for me most of the time. The only time I really really use my kit is when I am lobbing nades off of walls in WvW.

Am I a bad Engineer? I am currently running 15/30/25/0/0 with a Rifle in Knight and Berserker gear and I can take on pretty much any class if I am on my game(thieves are the worst to fight IMO)

TBH I sometimes wish I could have my Pistol Shield in a 2nd slot but I guess with all that CC we would be super overpowered.

I took this today when making a Asura Thief. I did find it rather funny when I first saw it.

Alhough I sometimes do wish that you could have the option to keep your headgear on like when you have the Engi monocle or stuff like that when it would fit the charecter best.

Instead of being a brute and strong you could be quick and precise. Being short can give you alot of chances to get under the enemies guard and getting the right blows in.

You Asura could be strong enough to be able to use heavy armor and not be so encumbered and skilled and quick enough to be more like a duelist then a berserker.

And if you want to go the blood crazed powerful you can go “it’s magic and science I don’t have to explain anything”

I was smart enough to program my golem my own ingenious firewall and encryption. It can also be your for 5 easy payments of 10 gold a week.

For a mad scientist I would go Engineer and use grenade and elixir gun. Grenades because you can throw poison and frost grenades which is like a concoction and Elixir gun because it’s all about using Elixirs and poison to weaken enemies and help your allies.
