Guild Wars 2

Hello. Just started this game 3 weeks ago, so I’m not super familiar with all the lingo and customs used by hardcore players. I’m not a hardcore player of Guild Wars, so please don’t expect me to automatically know the acronyms everyone uses, and I don’t care enough to be upset by people calling me a noob or whatever. That said…

So, I just reached level 70 on an Elementalist. I plan on getting a Magic Find set of explorer gear, and I was going to throw some Pirate runes on it. I have some good daggers (I like the dagger/dagger spells best), and I’m getting the Tri-Forge amulet. This is so I can save some gold for when I hit level 80 and get some decent gear to hit up dungeons with people. I’ve seen a lot of posts with people hating on magic find, which I agree it would be messed up to use in a dungeon, but PvE it seems like it would be useful to farm crafting supplies with. Going to try it anyways…

Basically, my question is, what is a decent set of all around Elementalist armor? Not looking to superstack just one stat and leave the others out, and I like to do damage AND still be able to support whoever I’m playing with effectively. The Black Lion Trading Post is a nightmare for me, because there are way too many different items on there, so I’m looking for advice. I’d like to be a jack-of-all-trades, focused on healing and damage. Any help would be appreciated. Again, I’m a casual gamer on here, so it’s not all that serious lol.
