So after helping a friend with story mode and realizing there was much more standing around doing nothing than actually fighting causing us to all think it was terribly boring. The rest of our party has come to the pinnacle of our story modes and were wondering if we could knock them all out together in one fail swoop? Or do we all have to go through this catastrophe one at a time?

Yeah, this is happening, but I mean, look at this game. Its not that old, and Anet probably can’t do much about it. I’ve lost over 150g worth of stuff due to errors in this game.. but… Its a game. Just run CoF for like 10 hours to get the money to buy the mats. Anet will eventually fix this, so just wait until they can.

Telling someone to just farm a dungeon for 10 hours to get gold to buy mats that were taken from them after they spent hours farming to get them doesn’t seem a bit ridiculous to you?

The fact that you’ve lost over 150g in items, but seem completely nonchalant about it is the exact reason they aren’t forced to take action.

No updates in the browser to say it is down, nothing on a front page. One should not have to wade through multiple pages to get nothing more than a small quip from a Mod. A quip which was unhelpful at best. I don’t mind the servers being down, but I believe ANet is dropping the ball on how they handle information to their customer base.

It’s right there on the main page for the forums in the announcement column on the right. Pretty easy to spot. :p

If you read the entirety of my message you would realize I desire details. Not a quip. As I am sure most of the player base would also like rather than being kept in the dark.

I understand that servers go down and we may be forced away from our games for awhile. Anything mechanical is going to fail at sometime. What I cannot accept is that the people working there FAIL to give us an update as to what is wrong and the timetable we are looking at for a fix.
