If you change zones or leave an instance once a new build is active, it restarts your game. If you don’t want to restart right away, you have to stay in the same map/instance.
It restarted the game in the middle of a PvP game right after it’d given me (and everyone else, from what I’ve noticed) the 20 minutes message.
The game restarts immediately. Utmost annoying.
I hope you’re aware of the bug already and are working on resolving the issue. In the current state it’s impossible to hold SM as it is so it needs to be fixed asap. I’m not going to describe it in details – we don’t need more bug abusers – but I’m attaching a screenshot that’ll explain which exploit I have in mind.
Thieves are one of the most imbalanced professions at the moment. It’s not because of their damage (even though initiative allows them to spam their skills A LOT) but because of stealth. The only way to counter it is to spend karma and badges on traps which also cost supply to deploy. To me the only way to balance them is to either nerf their dmg (which is the worse scenario as it will hit their pve) or give every profession a skill to deal with stealth.
Time to bring this thread back to the front page. Last matchup my server faced Drakkar Lake which completely slaughtered us. However this week we got matched against it once again. They’ve already taken most of the map and zerg us every time we try to do something. Thank you AN for another horrible week in WvW.
Most of the time the lowest ranked server gets jumped on by the other 2 whenever it tries to re-capture something after the first blow. It’s the matching system that needs fixing not upgrades costs.
Another horrible week of imbalance. Time to take a break from GW2 until next Friday.
I agree with many people in here, the VO tends to be really bad at times. Today I’ve played the mission “Battle for Claw Island” (which was a pretty bad experience – tons of mobs chasing you around and horribly useless NPCs) and heard Deputy Mira say something like “Ah, my eyes!”. I must say it sounded more like “Meh, my eyes. Whatever. I’m taking a nap.” Also, sometimes Trahearne sounds like somebody forced him to live.
But, of course, VO tends to be pretty good – most actors voicing charrs in the Charr storyline do their job really well.
After the current patch doing dungeons feels just like a punishment. The rewards are laughable – almost no experience is gained, money earned in most cases barely covers the costs of repairs and the tokens received compared to the prices, well, no comment here. The “rewards” are also inadequate to the time and effort that needs to be put into the instances now – it just feels like a huge waste of time. I saw a dev comparing dungeons to DoA from GW1. However DoA was an instance for experienced players not a dungeon for players who were level 10 ( here – max lvl in GW1 was 20, the dungeon CM in story mode is for lvl 40 players). Also with luck I could have an Armbrace after 3 full-runs in HM, here it is required to repeat the same dungeon XX times to get a set of (mostly not best-looking) armor.
So why? Why would a part of the story be changed into punishment, into something frustrating that takes away fun from the majority of players? I don’t get it.
