For some of you who may lack design imagination…some of the (new) sylvari faces were designed intentionally without noses, to offer variety in facial designs. In fact, it also coincides with (possible) racial traits for a salad race, since a nose wouldn’t really be necessary for such a race, considering how plants ‘breath’…if one’s imagination were so inclined. :P
you should think more before applying this kind of logic for the design. why? because sylvari grow on ONE tree.
what do i imply? there are no different sylvari genders. they are by the very same logic a huge design error.
and suddenly sylvari design was shrunk to half its options.
i dont understand how “exotics” being to easy to attain was a mistake. i think the wrong thought in the design is: “gear needs stats”.
there would be much easier balancing without stats on gear and skillbuilds would become much more relevant as well.
i dont care if they remove a tier or two from the game. if they want to make me happy, they just need to remove stats from gear alltogether.
the reason why you cannot use towns clothing is most likely called aquabreathers
imagine yourself being the only one doing the clocktower at any given time. yes, not very interesting anymore, is it?
the other players you do it with serve the purpose of putting psychological pressure on you whenever someone behind you gets swallowed by the swirling nether, its basically the ONLY reason why the tower is alot more interesting than other jumping puzzles.
