Guild Wars 2

I willing to bet you aren’t waiting for the clock to break. I did the exact same thing 3 times too before figuring it out. You have to let the clock spin by you once before it breaks and then you can jump in. I always thought it broke from the person jumping in…but no, it breaks…then you jump in.

I’m a web developer and interested in starting up a hobby project around GW2. I tried doing some quick searches, but couldn’t find an answer. Is there a GW2 API for web developers? Something that would give us character information, etc.? Also, just to be clear, not referring to an API to make game add-ons…just data-retrieval. If not, I highly suggest making one available to the public so the community can contribute to making the GW2 experience even better when outside the game.

TL;DR: Is there a GW2 API for web developers? If not, that’s my suggestion.
