i’m really disappointed with HoT issue. Pre-purchased it and got stuck with client crashing issue. My alt without HoT has no issues… This definitely is isolated to HoT upgrade. I feel like I need to get refunded…

I’ve had the same “NADA” issue when I was opening the exotic chest daily… Then it hit me that there should be a better RNG chance with LARGER pool… Since then I’ve saved exotic chests until i have 15 – 20 exotic chests (sorry i don’t have lots of spaces). Then find a decent odd time when there’s no Teq events and open these 15 -20 chests very quickly.

Believe or not, I’ve done this way for last 3 batches and got 5 ascended items and a mini =) These are way more than what I got (0). Not saying this is the fix but doesn’t hurt to try =)

BTW, RNG is RNG… Still no precursor drops from loots or MF =( And I’m the guy with “0” Legendary Sword dropped out of hundreds of FoW chests in GW1…..

This happened to me often during Teq as well and I used to get really upset. One way to deal is to be in a party. I think as long as you are in a party, you won’t lose your spot in the server at least for a while. Hope this helps.

And I’m still praying for my first precursor (and I’m still upset about not getting a single VS dropped from numerous VS farming in GW =( )… At least it’s being consistent… RNG is RNG, guys!!

For those of who own this ship, I have a question. Does “Quick travel to all the cities” mean we can travel to any WP’s or just like having Asuran gates to all the cities? How does this work?

The game should respect the fact that every ppl enjoys the game differently. I think all 3 ascended crafting materials (dragonite, empyreal, bloodstone) should be exchangeable via MF or merchant with a small fee (karma, skill pt, or etc..). That way, all of us continue doing what we were doing (well, until WE decide to stop). Personally, I love participating world boss events or champs. Not necessarily enjoying doing JP’s or dungeons. I’m pretty sure there are tons of ppls who enjoy JP’s or dungeons, not champs or world boss… Just a thought…

Finally, i got mine done last nite after stuck at 19/20 for last 3 days and did the dailies for. Maybe this was fixed yesterday as a hidden fix =)

Hi. I’d second Figlilly’s comments above.
I started playing on iMac 27" 2.7GHz i5 with just 4 G memory last month or so. Comparing to my main on windows 7, it definitely slower. But I honestly think it is okay to play on it as long as you avoid world event (i even survived Jormag but was little sloppy).

Anet’s official promo email stated any gem purchases between 12:01 AM on Dec 1st, 2013 and 11:59 PM Dec 31st PST are qualified for these… So, I guess it’s YES to your question.

This happened to me last 3 nights in a row for Teq chest. Every single time, I won the Gold Reward with Xp, Karma bonuses (so I’ve been putting enough damages) but no Rare chest and Dragon chest showing up for me. I was in JQ server. Come on. Please fix it. It’s not fun when you waiting for 30 minutes for the event and got no boss chest.

Happened again tonight. Just want to know why… Pls tell me why =(

Yes… Can someone in Anet please look into this? I’ve talked to many ppls and seemed to happen randomly.

This really makes me mad since I get to play an hour or so and ended wasted all the time for NOTHING. I’ve been opening the chest about 4 times a week or so and this started to happen to me within 2 weeks or so (happened to me 3 times including last night). I usually switch weapons between melee and range to make sure I put damages. Please fix this issue.

I heard precursors are dropping out of chests from dragon chests. Do other event chests (Maw, Behemoth, and etc.)? I’m sorry I couldn’t find a clear answer from Wiki.

Only if guesting is the reason…. How about hosting dragon events every 30 mins? Don’t see real issues for events that occurs often (i.e. Maw)..

i have the same issue starting last night and i couldn’t fix it. Does anyone have a solution for it?

Update: 24 hours later, it’s back to normal and I can target now. Weird but I’m happy now.

Did something change on yesterday’s update? I was getting consistent 60 fps at various maps (Straits of Devastation, Wayfarer Foothill, and Kessex Hill) consistently up to Monday. All of sudden, I was getting 20 fps starting latest update. I have i7 CPU, 16 GHz memory, and my GPU’s high-end. The point is that i was getting at 60 pfs consistently before last night.
